This is more about eliminating realtors than anything else. Large corporate internet brokerages were bounded by MLS rules to provide compensation now they do not need to pay buyers agent, allowing them to steer the buyer not only to their properties.. but their mortgage company, title company, insurance company etc… eventually being the only players in the game. Sellers will be more willing to accept a lower amount for their home from these corporate brokers because it will be easier than selling their home on their own. The next step is changing how buyers obtain a mortgage making it harder for individuals to own property.

I have never felt so strong about why a buyer should want to work with me. Yesterday a potential client who was between me and another agent said: I want to work with you. After me showing just one thing I can do for buyers that certainly 98% would not be able.

Brand new agent here. I know I really need to have a buyer presentation but really have no direction on where to start. I am willing to do video, PowerPoint, and also a binder with all the same info. I feel this way I can reach any age group.

I think it’s important to use a real estate agent whenever you have a real estate transaction because of the experience and the knowledge of the agent. He would diagnose yourself go to a doctor go to a specialist.

Now if a buyer is buying a 500K house, how many would pay 15K out of their pocket to use your services? How many would shop around not only for cost but competency. Spewing nonsense like mindset, is just a cope that this market was ripe for disruption and the days of plaything tens of thousands of dollars to assist with paperwork is not logical anymore.

@@seminole2001no one is being force to use a buyers agent. If you’re willing to go through the buying process on your own then do it. It’s that simple.

Now ask three out of four of those consumers how many of them their real estate agent directly. That’s the statistic. I would be more curious about then using data from before the change to maintain the status quo. Also, survey question how many are willing to pay 2 to 3% for that same agent. I bet you get different results.

Working with an educated expert in the documentation now required & will be critical moving forward. If you do not already have an administrative support/transaction coordinator - now is the time to utilize that resource!
