Best Necromancer Build Season 2 | Ubers NM100 With Infinimist Corpse Explosion

I love this build except for Osseus Gale. That really feels clunky. I swapped the Godslayer Crown for a regular helmet and put Explosive Mist there and use flickerstep. The bonestorm cooldown is not an issue with them. I am using X'fals in place of the ring with Osseus Gale. I also swapped Sanguine Brace for Metamorphosis. I am constantly at full fortify anyway and Metamorphosis is great for those times inbetween Bonestorm and Blood Mist. I am absolutely horrible with the paragon board and am using an exact copy of yours. Always appreciate all of the streamers time and energy to help us dayworkers out.

flickerstep or lidless negate the need for gale. your main items should be black river, ROSS, and howl from below. blighted aspect on necklace, ultimate shadow on ring. everything else is defensive and bonus damage considerations.

100%, the maxroll one is decent but you need the ring. I am running this build without the unique helm or weapon and its very tanky and does a lot of damage. Just doing 70s with ease to level glyphs.

I dropped Osseous Gale and Reap for Aspect of the Damned and Iron Maiden. It plays super well and it feels very strong. Iron Maiden also provides a huge 7% Max Life heal on kill, which is one of the largest gaps in the build: self-healing outside potions. The only thing I'm trying to decide right now is if I like Aspect of the Damned on Amulet vs Blighted. 75%[x] damage at all times, with 120%[x] for 6 seconds on Blighted Ring as opposed to 50%[x] damage at all times and 180%[x] for 6 seconds. Blighted cannot build stacks while Blighted is active, and I don't think you really need that extra 35%[x] difference (75%[x] + 120%[x] = 195%[x] vs 50%[x] + 180%[x] = 230%[x] when you're fighting large groups, as CE damage scales insanely with density anyway. So then that extra 35%[x] damage from Blighted Amulet + Damned Ring really comes down to active time vs a Boss. And I think the 75%[x] Damned Amulet has more uptime, and thus more damage, than the 180%[x] Blighted Amulet. I would really need to sit down and test it out numbers wise, but I can say Damned Amulet overall feels better. Very fast boss kill time and density is a breeze with this build in the first place. Here's the planner if anyone wants it: maxroll.gg/d4/planner/03rcy0oz#3 Edit: After testing, I think that Flickerstep is 100% mandatory on this. There were 10-15 second periods where you wouldn't have Bone Storm; with Flickerstep you have 100% uptime on Bone Storm, which means another guaranteed source of lots of Lucky Hit procs, infinite toughness via Shielding Storm, and fairly decent damage. Next test would be to sacrifice Blood-soaked to move Damned/Blighted ( still needs testing! ) for X'fals. I think with 100% uptime on Bone Storm and CE damage ticking, you could proc X'Fals an enormous amount of times. It's still really good damage no matter what. Last thing would be to get a Shako for 20/20 CE lol I don't think we're Infinimist anymore, we're infinite Shadow Storm. I find I don't even need to use Blood Mist except as an oh shit option or a way to spawn some corpses. You could easily drop Explosive Mist and Blood-soaked with the Flickerstep set up.

@@eyezwideshut It works out great with Metamorphosis. Your Corpse Explosions (the act of casting, even if there's no corpses) actually cools off your Evade, so you can constantly jump through the boss repeatedly and get the Ult off cooldown before its duration is complete a lot of the time.

Also, on the Bloodbath board....you may as well take of 3x int nodes and go down three spaces to pick up Remedy. You still get 15 int but also pick up some healing received bonus.

Good tip, in fact you can take off the 6 nodes to the right of the glyph (1willpower 5 Int) and instead get both those 2 rare nodes to the bottom and left (+ 15% dmg fortified, healing) , and still get enough Int for the glyph bonus

Black River variants prioritize corpse generation and waiting until corpses are piled up before exploding. It doesn’t gain benefits if only 1 corpse is exploded. Because of this, Osseus Gale and Explosive Mist actually reduce your damage output, especially during single target fights with no density. You do NOT want anything consuming the corpses before you’ve had a chance to pile on 3+. Not to mention lack of corpses also means no tendrils being casted.

@@andyman697 Killed around 20 Duriels, this season is a blast, i do not melt bosses yet, but i think it's because i just started lvling up my glyphs and I'm only lvl 85. Everything else other than bosses just melts and tanky as hell. I got an xfal last night, so dropped the ring wich prolongs bone storm to see if i get more dmg out of the build. Did you try testing it with xfals. I did not understand why xfals doesn't go together with black river. Could you maybe explain more. Thx for the build, made the season more fun!

I found with this build i was already doing too much damage. So i went with utility. Life on cast actually procs on the auto corpse explosions. And went with a fortify on corpse explosion as well. You always have a barrier lifesteal and fortify.

I personally use a high lucky hit chance build and use Accursed Touch, every enemy is constantly cursed without the need to dive through everything for it to proc.

Very cool video ! I’m also testing different versions every dungeon I run a version with black river only, one with br and lidless, lidless by itself I run flicker step, which has crazy synergy with the build since we are already dashing through mobs a lot, so I have bone storm pretty much every fight I do use decay, I don’t have the Uber unique so I can’t speak to that From my testing, br definitely seems to add a lot of damage to the build, the combo with lidless is okay but it’s situational, doesn’t work on bosses because you are next to him so I do switch out at that point Still testing different versions

With Osseous Gale it seems like you might lose a lot of DPS 8 explosions could be a lot of missing damage ranging from 4-15 million. For T100 it helps a lot for survivability but not sure for boss. Could you please elaborate your choice? Thanks in advance

You are right, its a slight damage loss on bosses, and in aoe you have enough corpses that it doesnt matter. You can replace it with something like Aspect of the damned and replace bone storm with iron maiden for bossing.

RotSS probably isn't a good option for this build, because you want to use BR to its fullest extent with 4 corpses per cast of CE. RotSS constantly uses corpses, so the setup for more damaging CE would be harder to pull off. The same could be said for use of the Osseus Gale aspect.

Black RIver has been my favorite Unique in the game (for Necro) since the start. I love the weapon for it's features and I really like running 1h+shield Necromancer. Nice to see that you include the weapon in this build. I'm running a Blight/CE Necro atm, but you say dump the Blight and go full CE?

It always surprises me when guides dont include Blackriver, I got the worst item level 925 roll and its still very good for level 85. I was wondering if you have tried Terror (instead of Anticipation) during boss fights, if you stagger the boss it applies Fear and you're guaranteed to crit. You'll only crit with Shadowblight of course but it might still be worth it.

Love the Black River inclusion! Couple thoughts tho: what if we include Aspect of the Damned for 50% more damage to CE? Can use Might instead of Godslayer so we're tanky enough not to need mist anymore to free up the aspect slot for Damned and skill slot for Iron Maiden. The extra 50% damage overall would make up for dropping godslayer just for bosses

A question about the rotation. After the first blood mist ends, do you manually cast corps explosion or you detonate them only with bone storm ? I have problems to cast the tendrils because the bone storm steals the corpses :)

I think the planner shows ideal stats - it's hard to get 4 out of 4 stats on D4 gear with all the dozens of possible affixes a peice can drop with! It doesn't really matter where the aspects go - except for weapons and amulet which get a bonus. Edit - the weapon aspect bonus is only for 2h weapons so the only bonus is on the amulet (where you get 50% extra stats from the aspect).

Blood surge minions is really fun... level 74 and still pretty viable. Been in T4 since lvl 60 with this build.

Easiest would be another shadow build since you'd be looking for similar aspects anyways. Leveling with sever or blight in that case. Otherwise the usual blood surge or bone spear leveling builds until you get to WT3 and get more aspects online to transition to early infinimist

For leveling, minions is the best choice, so much fun and fast, you are crushing everything underleveled. Once you get to 100, have all the gears, wanna push for t100 nightmare etc, switch to this build

Lidless wall is good for tankiness but you honestly dont need it. You lose an important offensive aspect slot, lucky hit, and CDR. But if you want to farm 100's without having to think about anything lidless wall is good.

Instead on using Gale Loop wouldn't Flickerstep boots work better that way all the corpse don't get consumed for more corpse explosion's?

It’s a good build, but BL sorc is also super tanky (with Vyr keystone, vyr aspect and burn enchantment) and does like 5x the dps.

So why not run x'fal together? It says it explodes in dot, doesn't it work perfectly with balck river since our corpse explosion is dot.
