Branded Despia is one of those meta deck that do like. The flow of their fusion plays just feels fun, smooth, and understandable. Definitely something I like to have access to but not primarily use.

First deck I built in MD was a Darklord deck. Then added in some Despia cards but now I’ve been completely pure Despia so I’ve been waiting for these new cards. Super excited to start playing them

I run branded darklord despia, it’s actually so insane. Put Archlord Kristyia in your deck, dump it with branded fusion, then have first darklord monster reborn it. The only 2 cards that can beat this is dark ruler and forbidden droplet.

I recommend having a plan B just in case your branded fusion gets negated. I beat a lot of despia players just by stopping that one card. I went against this one player on ygopro that played minimum handtraps and played mostly extenders with his despia. Even after negating his branded fusion, he was fusioning and swarming like a madman and tore apart my board. So if you have to choose between a handtrap and extensions with Branded, extensions are the way to go... infact, you can just about spare the handtraps and play board breakers like Evenly.

fyi if u special summon mirrorjade using ad libitum, when mirrorjade leave the field it wont trigger the destructive effect at endphase.. cheers!

The fusion with Albaz plus Nibiru into Titaniklad is something I hadn't thought of before, nice! I was about to comment that you could just send any light attribute for Albion, but it made sense afterwards.

For anyone finding Gem grinding every day tedious, it gives you 3 a day, plus they stack, but never repeat. It's pretty much always the same (roughly 9) missions; so you can log in but not play Ranked for 3 days, then knock out 8 of your Dailys in a couple matches (the last one is play in Solo 3 times). 360 Gems every third day (not including Log In Bonus and post-duel rewards) might not seem like much, but $6 gets you 330 in the Shop. Over one month you get 3600 Gems from Dailys, which is almost exactly the halfway point between the $40 and $80 Gem bundles.

TBH, I hate facing Branded variants because it is a freaking unpredictable engine to the point the only way to stop it is by, ironically, floodgating special summons. The issue is that, if you go second and you are facing the deck, with no solid handtrap on hand, you are doomed. Despia makes me think Eldlich Stun and Floowandereeze as 'fairer' decks in comparison when even Sky Striker can beat Floo ang Eldlich easily, but Mirrorjade just straight up kill the viability of Sky Striker.

The thing that makes Despia meta is that they're like Tri-Brigade but for Fusion. They dont really have extra deck negates, but they have some form of multiple non target pop cards, rebound, draw power, and 3000 beatstick monsters that could be summoned easily

I swear master duel rigged every branded despia player with opening maxx c in hand. It's the same every time a new archetype coming out they just got the best hand. and the problem with maxx c in branded is they could OTK you under 5 summon. So if you don't kill them under maxx c, they most likely gonna kill you next turn. If you play under maxx c, well good luck OTK ing with that much of a disruption. I could break their board but OTK ing under maxx c is just not possible.

I full combo with ignister and get my 6000 boss monster za Arrival, I send their 8800 venom dragon back to the deck when they use chimera to destroy my field spell and A.I show(just to stop attacks in case they are above 6000) just for me to step away after making my pizza and I get auto surrendered on my turn....these be sad times i gotta say though this deck is strong if you allow it to pop off

Is it possible to make this deck with minimum requirement? I lack materials to make this deck and so far I am guaranteed to have 3 branded fusion and 3 fusion monster(I have 180 crafting materials) so is it OK? Or I should add more fusion monster and get 2 branded fusion only. I just wanna try the deck even if I didn't finish it yet so and ideas will help.
