Well I have the original and the swing away so........I would much rather have had this one. Too bad they can't do trade ins to upgrade. I'm not purchasing another one. Thank you though for the review

Hi have you subbed on polyester ribbon ? I’m looking for a new heat press because I don’t want to deal with adjusting the pressure. My other slide away heat press would ghost certain things

I have not tried that yet as I've only been using this press for a day - literally just got it in the mail! But I'm very happy with the results of the coasters I made.

I’m not sure what pressure to use on polyester ribbon ..

Since it's such thin material I would start off with a heavy pressure. If you're not happy with the results adjust the pressure and see if that makes a difference. I have not tested out ribbon yet but may have to try it out this holiday season.

@ my slide away heat press not a fan. Nothing but ghosting and I had it all the way down so I stopped trying then my father in law passed so I had to try again

Thanks so much! Yes I was very happy with how the coasters turned out - I thought of giving them away as a gift but I may just have to keep them for myself :)
