I was surprised to see Tremonti, but you guys are spot-on. Love him or hate him, the dude is a riff monster and always has been. Personally I had a tough time getting through Patriarkh and HFTS... both bands I've enjoyed in the past, but these latest offerings fell flat. My personal pick for January is Great American Ghost "tragedy of the commons". Literally just dropped on 1/31, probably after you recorded this vid. Total banger of an album from a local New Hampshire band, which almost never happens. These guys are legit tho. Highly recommended!

Nothing to make fun of for including Tremonti on this list. Mark is an absolute monster of a musician, and Tremonti is one of my favorite bands ever. Although, I couldn't really get into this record. It felt like just more of the same from them, and I was like "yeah, it's cool but nah", haha.

Patriarkh were never Batushka. Krysiuk tried to steal the name, but he lost the case in court to Drabikowski, real Batushka founder. IMHO, it is not worth to even talk about Krysiuk's music, because his reputation is destroyed. All support to real Batushka!

I feel the same way. Can’t wait until the new Batushka album comes out from Krystof and company! Hopefully Lykanthrop (aka Felix, who is in the backing choir and does a lot of KZbin black metal covers) is on the album.

Man, January just flew by! We’re already into February now? Good God… anyways, here are my favourites from this past month(?!): - Am I in Trouble? - Spectrum - Psycho-Frame - Feed (new two song EP) - Enterprise Earth - Descent into Madness (another awesome deathcore EP) - Häxkapell - Om jordens blod dur grepp (I think that’s the title? I don’t speak Swedish and I’m not about to copy and paste the whole thing.) - Necrodeath - Arimortis - Selvans - Saturnalia - Great American Ghost - Tragedy of the Commons - All That Remains - AntiFragile And I am conflicted about adding this band to the list here because they are on a sketchy record label, but I really like the new album by the Scottish black metal band Barshasketh. The record label conundrum probably will keep me from talking about it on my own channel, though.
