I agree that sci-fi is better than fantasy. Sci-fi has more room more exploration, and a lot of writers try and create super weird, and philosophical stories. Fantasy, o the other hand, usually is more of the hero's journey and formulatic shit we're all tired of, with a few exceptions like Malazan (greatest story ever told. Fite me) or Witcher. But overall, sci-fi kicks fantasy's ass.
