Weird, this vid popped up on my home page this afternoon, and then I got a message this video is private. I'm glad it's up now. If the SHTF my first stove grab will be the one that gives me a fast cup of coffee. so I can contemplate how to conserve my resouces. At least in Ohio there is plenty of trees with bark, sticks, twigs, pinecones, etc. for burning in my tiny wood burners. On a cold winter day, my alcohol stoves will be a great help. For a fast cup of coffee though you can't beat one like you just demonstrated. These kind are my favorite when I first wake up. Easy to light - and fast.

I bought one of these based on your review. Its a cracking stove. Its the do-all. endure-all, any-weather, budget stove. The cup design of the burner might weigh a little more, but it pays back in dividends because you dont need to pack a wind shield, and its very fuel efficient in cross winds. Thank you once again for your excellent advice.

Ok, this stove arrived today and I did my own boil test at 3000 ft. above sea level. First of all I used an adapter for propane use. For the pot I used the Optimus Terra Weekend HE (heat exchange.) The outside temp was 57 degrees with 19 mph wind gust. Here are my timed results for a rolling boil. 16oz water took 35 seconds and 24oz came in at 1 minute and 1 second. I could not believe my eyes.This stove is a beast!

its a pot stand, got it off an old cheap butane stove and put it on there to give some distance between the top of the stove and whatever pot i put on there
