Got mine in today it will not charge

I have been told that a 1lb propane tank is still high pressure and certain stoves don't have a regulator to truly bring down the pressure, thus possibly ruining the stove. Is that BS or to your knowledge does it have some truth? Thanks in advance.

You haven’t done your due diligence in learning about using canned heat as fuel. Never use more than 2 cans at a time, and you never use this stove in any tent where there is only one way out and is made of a fast burning fabric like most tents. Please make those corrections in another video and take down this one so no one gets hurt because of misinformation you have given.

A new guy in my Facebook group said he had 200' of wire and wanted to know how to make an easy RX antenna. I told him how to make an easy End Fed Dipole 71' long, and the rest was for however much he needed for wire leads. Each ear is 35½' long either vertical or horizontal polarization with the wire leads to the middle of each ear where the Voltage Node is opposite the Current Nodes at the ends of the ears approximately 75 ohms, good match if not using coax, or 6' of lead coax at the end of the wire leads into the radio.

So, right out of the gate, you mention that this product isn't for backpacking. My question is, is the only reasons you say it's not good for backpacking is it's weight and that it's bulky? I'm going on a 800 mile thru-hike of the AZT, Arizona Trail, and this would be absolutely perfect. A good friend of mine said a good water filtration syatem is imperative, because some of the water sources is water for livestock. I understand that every single ounce counts when it comes to backpacking, especially long distance. So, basically my question is this, other than the fact that it's bulky, and has some weight to it, would you suggest this product for backpacking a thru-hike of 800 miles?

Now the true prepper set up would have a portable stil set up where you could use the methanol byproduct in a refillable alcohol burner.

I set one of these up for use at a friends ranch that has spotty cell phone coverage. We use it for basic communication and if there is an emergency. For the first test, I taped the repeater to the back of a UV-5G and taped them to the end of a 15’ pool cleaning pole. Using the Abree 771 antenna we were able to cover at least a 5 mile radius (LOS). We even hit a location down in a little slot draw we weren’t expecting. Battery easily lasted the weekend with our limited and brief TX. Currently working on a setup in a HF Apache box with battery and solar back up. Also working on a taller “tower”.

Thanks for the taste test. I value others opinions when it comes to these foods. I noticed allot of these meals are more a side dish and have no protein so I added canned beef, chicken or salmon. Also some sauce like BBQ, Buffalo sauce or some kind of spices and spicy. Don't forget the can opener. At the end of the day it's about being ready when an unfortunate event hits us. We can always customize our prepping while we can get things but, when the music stops playing, everyone goes crazy for that Las chair and that's it.

Go to harbor freight they have a broken pipe nipple removal kit. If you can strip the tank fitting down to not have the rod coming out you might have luck with removing what’s broken off inside.

Yep. I did the same. Should have checked the price-- a steal!,, too good to be USA true!! mine were ok; but one out of 4 Chinese pieces was sooo off center you couldn’t screw it closed. I kept it but unscrewed it to put it away in its chamber. Screws back in though off center….. and does work. I have them in altoids kits and on keychain.

The hocl is extraordinarily unstable in solution so you need to add an acid post production to buffer the ph to an acidic level around 6.5. That actually ensures that the chlorine level is less and they hypochlorous is the predominant free chlorine product. You will always have a small about of chlorine present, but the more basic the solution the less hocl you will have and the higher the amount of sodium hypochlorite. In essence this is a “bleach” or chlorine generator in neutral to alkaline ph. Just want to clarify due to seeing people use this on their skin and whatnot. You can actually use white vinegar to titrate to the desired ph. A lot of commercial units recommend adding the vinegar prior to electrifying however studies show that the ph will still end up around 8 regardless, requiring additional buffering.
