Actually, the M1912 P.16 machine pistol was not an experimental weapon. It was produced in quite a number and used on the Italian front as a trench sweeper. They even produced "Doppelpistole M1912 P.16", which was simply two of those machine pistols strapped together.

there is only 1 automatic pistol in the game, its the frommer stop auto. you can use it when you are an pilot, but you need to change it first you do that by before you hop in a plane you change your pilot class

Selb is 2-3 hit kill with 27(?) rounds. this is 3-4hit kill with 20 rounds and less recoil but recoil isnt a big deal if you can control your fire rate. no idea why you would want a worse version of selb.

No idea why you would ever play with selb in the first place. The only thing it has going for it is magazine size. The recoil pattern is absolutely atrocious.

Like I said, the magazine size is its main strength, but how does it dish out damage better than other choices? Most of the medic rifles have exactly the same 3 shot kill, while offering you a much lower recoil. Your magazine capacity means nothing when you are forced to shoot slowly to avoid missing while in the meantime, something like RSC, selbstlader 1906 and mondragon can easily kill people faster. At closer ranges, it is beaten by the fast firing rifles like autoloading 8, 1907 and cei-rigotti. At medium range, it's beaten by RSC and mondragon, both of which are more accurate, and RSC also has the added benefit of killing in two shots up to 47 meters. And finally at long range, it is once again beaten in accuracy by mondragon and selbstlader 1906, both of which can also fire faster without such a severe wobble from side to side.
