Best new VR games 2023

So guys…
Starfield has been living rent free inside the heads of most of the collective gaming community for the last few weeks so much so that games like No Man’s Sky have seen a substantial spike in popularity lately as this Bethesda developed title is widely regarded as the biggest game release of the year….
And of course us VR enthusiast as usual were left on the outside looking in as yet another perfect for VR release has come and gone without even an inkling of VR support
But
Never fear TDG is here to tell you that VR has some awesome games on the way, including two this year that are sure to make waves in the VR sphere
and alongside the pending release of the MQ3 could actually impact VR’s adoption rate in the near future so enough talking about it let’s get to it!

Definitely agree that Behemoth is one to look forward to. I know it won't be anywhere near the same scope/scale, but I'm hoping it scratches my Skyrim VR itch, only with gameplay actually built from the ground up for VR. AC Nexus looks pretty cool too. Hopefully it comes to other headsets eventually, considering Meta dropped exclusivity on it a little while ago.

Unfortunately I fear that PCVR is slowing fading in favor of the Quest/PSVR2/Apple ecosystem. I think a new Valve headset is what the market needs ASAP!

@@vrvoyager I think PC VR will be alright. It already hasn't been the target platform for VR games for years, but many standalone and PSVR 2 games will continue to be ported to it with some enhancements. It's biggest asset is already the flat-to-VR mod scene, which is only going to get bigger and better. A new Valve headset would be cool, but it'll likely be an expensive niche device and won't really change the PC VR install base too much, just provide a nice upgrade for PC VR players. The main downside is that Valve doesn't act like a VR platform holder the way Meta and (to a lesser extent) Sony do. Valve isn't paying money for third-party VR game development, and who knows what they've got in the works internally?

Just a heads up for those interested in AC, it is not open world and is mission structured. Think Metro Exodus in terms if world structure, missions take place in small hub worlds based on the played assassins time period/serring respectively.
