Being a HDFC user myself I can definitely say they are focusing on relationship management. I have been assigned a RM by the bank and he is just one call away, i have never been to my branch since I have opened my account in Jan 2021 everything is happening over call with RM, even I don't need to struggle on apps and websites this RM navigates me and get my work done over a call, So I would say this Relationship management is working specially in my case. I am a HDFC bank investor since last 2.5 years, and have great faith on business and management, will keep on holding and downward averaging until this some management/fundamental changes negatively. I have a horizon of 8-10 years on this and bajaj finance. Love your analysis.

I have HDFC bank account and hdfc recently assigned one dedicated relationship manager which make banking very easy for me. All things like getting credit card or loan just a call away and he/she will manage all the things. Note : He/She will try to sell you insurance or some investment product at end of call but you can simply say no if not interested 😄
