These are so cool, if they launched a ball detent mount I would buy it ASAP. Where did you get those “ready room” cabinets, where you have the helmets and plate carriers stored? Those are pretty slick, I’d love to get one myself.

Google metal lockers, there are a few companies who offer them.

The last time I held a Nocturne, it was one that somebody had snapped a pod on by putting it down on a table. Thank god there's people out there that actually know how to design a housing.
@HRTTacticalGear7 ай бұрын
That sucks. This housing is a game changer!

@@HRTTacticalGear Perhaps once all the bugs get worked out, and assuming all of their future plans bear fruit... then perhaps it could eventually become a "game changer", until then trying to call it that comes across as shilling

@moustache6622 the bugs are worked out. Consider this a game changer.

3:12 “if you didn’t want manual gain” if you get rid of it does it automatically start to adjust the brightness or is the brightness just fixed ? If you get rid of the manual gain does it automatically become auto gain? How do you go from manual gain to auto gain? Did not think that was possible…
@HRTTacticalGear2 ай бұрын
If you do not use the manual gain its full brightness, good and bad reasons for that. You cannot switch back and forth without changing things on the housing and opening the unit up.

Nice... question, would dirt or grit affect the pin system connection?

To our understanding no as its contained, but could be wrong.

I'm more interested in hearing how they plan to fix the current/on going issues with the MH-1 design/release (issues with wiring, board, knobs, the open recall etc.)... Would be more useful than hearing about features they plan to offer at some-point down the road eventually, hopefully they make customers act as their beta-testers again like they're doing with the MH1.
@moustache66227 ай бұрын
Also, as an "FYI" the real-world weight on a calibrated scale with MIL-SPEC lens comes in at 20.01oz fully setup (carson lens, image intensifier tubes, and of course a battery)
@Sooprazn7 ай бұрын
You mean the fixed issues? They're shipping fixed units back to customers. Additionally, to your weight question, if you're using the heaviest possible "MiL sPeC" lenses on the market, then your 'calibrated' scale will show 20 oz.
@moustache66227 ай бұрын
@@Sooprazn LOL, no... Many of the so-called "fixed" units are having to be sent back out for yet more fixes & troubleshooting. Strongly recommend that folks hold off and wait for all the bugs to get worked out before jumping into the MH-1. Hopefully by then some better distributors/builders will start offering it as well.

I've heard about plans for a thermal pod, but in the mean time will you guys be coming out with an arm for the bridge to run an HMT in dual band?
