Thanks man 😄... so far it’s holding up nicely, only time will tell haha! The reviews on Amazon are all positive, so hopefully they didn’t “buy” those reviews and they’re legit.

Great video I’ve been wanting a 2nd dock for my tv in my other room how’s it holding up for you now
@wowVJ3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! It still works fine... but the only downfall is that I have to use the power supply that was included with my Switch (or find a third-party power supply with the same specs). I do have a video for another "mini dock", and it comes with a USB-C cable strong enough to power up the switch onto TV mode, feel free to check out that video at kzbin.info/www/bejne/oKXLeYVmgL6qpK8

Is it possible to connect a USBC extension cable between the Switch and the Stingray?
@wowVJ4 жыл бұрын
So sorry, I can’t give a reliable answer because I don’t have the means to test it out... but since this is a third-party product, I wouldn’t trust using something that diverts power from the power source, it could lead to some major issues in the future 😣

Can I use this even if I don’t play on tv? That’s been in my mind for a while. Also does it charge at the same time?
@wowVJ3 жыл бұрын
I use it for the LAN connection in handheld mode all the time 🙂... and yes it does charge, you just need to use the packed-in power supply that came with your switch

Is it plug and play? How long do You plug the switch for playing?, I mean a normal sesión, does this dock get heat or the switch gets heat?, Comments are welcome.
@wowVJ3 жыл бұрын
Yup, essentially it's plug and play... but the only downside is that you'd have to use the Nintendo Switch Power Supply, or something that's equivalent to its power output, or else it won't work properly. I have done another review for another portable dock at kzbin.info/www/bejne/oKXLeYVmgL6qpK8... the one in the link works out of the box and they include a USB-C to USB-C cable for power and it's strong enough to power up the Switch 🙂
