Bro, this was the fastest paced, most hype match I’ve watched in Mk1 to date. Those upblock baits and overhead lows Deo was doing were scary but the Geras was too clean-that armored move adaptation to hit him out of his air setup was godlike. What a goat 🔥🔥

I love Nitara combos the most out of the cast but I can’t seem to get in. Beside the blood aesthetic, she’s like Skarlet in that pokes seem to disarm her pretty easily. And Nitara doesn’t even have a confirmable mid! Awesome matches, your Geras is terrifying.

If she had some actual decent buttons instead of her S1, B4, and F1, I think she would be used a lot more. I think people stay away from her because of her lack of mix potential, trash zoning tools, reduced health, ass frames lol. However, if someone (like deo) can clearly utilize everything that she has, she’s definitely hella intimidating. He’s so consistent with her cancels, they are not easy to do without constant fault.. and he’s doing crazy optimal shit that I’ve never seen!! I loved you in MKX!!

Natara's mobility is insane wow! I really think you need to try a different cameo with her, Frost, Sareena, Scorpion maybe. To me that Kung Lao Cameo doesn't suit her. Can you please let me know what is the gameplan with her and Lao, maybe I'm missing something. Ggs.

seems like deoxy is using kung loa for spacing with nitara, allowing her to jump around while the opponent has to respect lao’s hat

low + overhead setups are the game to play. while the hat cooks you can dash and establish map control. frost has potential but kung laos projectile speed + being delayable is a lot of utility to pass up.

Kameos will always be unfun. First it's Sareena, then it's Cyrax, then whoever is next. Makes matches less interesting knowing that if the kameo is Cyrax you're going to see repeated guaranteed 50/50 mix-ups that you have to just block and hope you guess right on the 50/50. If the characters were designed well enough you wouldn't need to have whatever flavor of the week kameo is the best for the season carry the match.

everyone drops combos sometimes haha i feel like its more about the character's flaws and less of the player's (bnb setups, 50/50s) ie: having better utility with a cameo that will cover her flaws over one that resets for those 45%+ combos.
