If you are sick, I wouldn’t want a cure. These devices bring such pleasure, and it seems they provide this for you so have at it and good luck to you.

Finally someone talking clearly and connected in the E-Ink Tablet community. I will start uni this year and i'm struggling to pick Boox Note Max or Remarkable Paper Pro. Currently i have Ipad Pro with a glass protector, writing on it with the pencil is awful experience. Is Boox Note Max a lot better in terms of control and grip, while writing? How does the RPP compare to Boox Note Max in terms of that? Also RPP software being more decluttered, does this give more battery life than Boox Note Max (because the battery cell is also more mAh)? My three main priorities are: 1. Having a snappy, clear and grippy writing experience 2. Reading for hours without eye strain 3. Good battery life

1. The writing experience on both is outstanding, but different. The Box Note Max has a little softer feel, while the RPP is harder bit more grippy. I actually prefer the RPP, but just slightly. 2. Reading is definitely a better experience in the Boox Note Max, simply because of the APIs that are available if you are not happy with the one built in. On the RPP you can read pdf files and epub. If you want to read a book you purchased from Amazon or other store, you have to remove the digital rights management. 3. I am having some issues with battery life on the Boox Note Max right now. I will be doing some testing tonight. I think it may have to do with Outlook and Teams running in the background without being toggled for App Freeze. More to come, but I would give the edge here to RPP. Thanks for watching and commenting. I hope this helps!

Hi - great review! I am just thinking to test remarkable paper pro and send back note 4c. What is your opinion - I need mainly for notes and reading books.

Either device would be great, but the disadvantage of the Remarkable is getting books onto the device in an epub or pdf format. If you get your books from a store like Amazon or Kobo, you have to remove the digital rights management in order for the Remarkable to be able to show the files. On the Note Air 4C you can just download the Kindle or Kobo app and read from one of those. If reading and writing are equally important, I would favor the Boox. Just my opinion
