What does this have to do with Christianity? Persons of all faiths, or no faith, have these same experiences. Also, there are numerous other possible reasons to cause these experiences. So, it really just comes down to what one wants to believe.

Are we not all God's children? Christian or not? Believers or atheist? It doesn't matter. You can have one even if you don't believe.

The reason for Christianity as the framework is simple: it comes closest to answering the core questions: what is the Creator like? ( an Intelligence so far beyond comprehension who imposed the rules on spacetime which governs physics) What gives deepest meaning and purpose (to love). Is there a larger purpose of which I am a part?( yes) Does awareness persist after the physical body disintegrates? (Yes) Read Nabeel Quereshi, John Lennox, C.S. Lewis. Listen to the CIA program on Remote Viewing. Yes, culture influences interpretation of NDE's. But see the Buddhist monks who knew nothing of Jesus, but met Him there.

I lost interest in this interview when I saw that Don Piper wrote the forward for this book. John Piper and his son, Don, are False teachers. Disappointed that Focus On The Family would have him on their program.
