I was never fond of MTV, or their Awards in the past, but now, more than ever, you can see the huge difference in tone, between this ans the Oscars. Light hearted atmosphere, amazing talents, memorable tribute and just simple talk about the shows, the characters and a little bit of personal touch, this is a celebration and the rating of what is supposed to be an art Awards. This shows exactly how Oscars is a false grand Awards, instead of taking the load off the people, they make it more cringe and irrelevant. Cheers to MTV awards!

My main point is, in this mad, mad world we live in, the entertainment industry should deliver entertainment like MTV did this year. Even, if you want some grotesque, high-leveled, profound art show, at least do that, instead of talking about about 1 country, having same social/political issues as always. Come on, I mean, no offense, but, I live in Georgia, right, you have no idea that it's a country, right, you have no idea that my country suffers from a lot of problems, socially, economically and politically, now, imagine my country hosts the Oscars and a random actor comes out and instead of talking about a movie or a character or just anything "art'', they start talking about how my hometown has low payment for the factories, EVEN I DON'T CARE about that, imagine you caring about it! Even though I missed it, but I came here for the late Chadwick Boseman. I'm glad that Yara was gracious enough to accept it on his behalf as well as his wife's behalf.
