as a 70 year old woman who married her highschool sweetheart almost 50 years ago, for myself and my husband in this season of our lives, all we want is to feel love. outside of our relationships with the lord of love, that translates for us in our relationship into long sweet embraces and gentle kisses throughout the day. and lots and lots of talking and sharing.

Our marriage suffered so much and now divorced. The real issues influenced all this. I still hope for reconciliation. Jim & Lynne 🙏🙏🙏

At learning how many women feel the need to pray together, Jim observed, how many men will start praying more tonight. That was genuinely funny! 😆

Nothing before marriage, nothing afterwards either. So glad I got married.

I know this was a year ago but i just feel like i need to say my husband does everything right. He prays with me.. He leads our family.. He is a Godly man.. He would do anything I ask him to in the bedroom.. He calls me beautiful all the time.. The problem is me and i don't know how to fix it😭

The Lord knows. He really cares for you. Do fast and pray. Do ask him, like a child, to lead you to him. He will help you! He loves you!

What is a Christian man supposed to do? After doing all the councelling, doing all the praying, trying to care for the spirit and emotions and still being rejected. The church will still judge you when you have reached your end and have to leave.

Sorry to hear. Gather with Christians who can minister to you both truth and grace, and let others think what they will. It's imperative that you go through a season of not only grieving a broken covenant but also of owning your part. That is the only way to go forward in the freedom of the Gospel. Blessings to you, brother.

Please get in touch with Focus for more information on what you are going through. Jesus will uphold you. Some people are not meant to be together and yes you will be judged...but only you understand what you are going through.

Yes I had an affair after a miserable sexless marriage of 16 years. I was judged by everyone including my three children who now blame me for the divorce. The emotion pain was unbearable being married to him and now the emotional pain from my adult children blaming me is just as bad.

It is a biblical reason for separation. It is important to take this seriously. If your wife doesn't realize the depth of the marital importannce of the marriage bed which is to be kept holy. It is precious and a necessary component in marriage.

@@elliemathews6884 It's unfortunate that your response was sin. But honestly means you own up to not being without excuse to betray your marriage vows. Then it would be possible to explain the length of time and, what I suppose is, total lack of relations to your family. It's important to address. It starts with repentence, though.
