I've heard 5'6 - 5'7 for iflipinos is considered tall, Kai is over a foot and a half taller than that, and still moves like this. You notice how (not being racist, but I've noticed it) centers who are of a specific nationality get (or h ave temproarily been) in the NBA? 7'5" sim buhllar, 7'2" salah mejri, and now Kai. It's crazy how many more 7 footers of their ethnicity can be.

When my friends ask me about Kai Sotto and the player I can compare him to either here or abroad... I Would say he is a combination of 2 Chinese bigs in Yao Ming and Wang Zhizhi. In the NBA, for me it has to be Kris Porzingis because he is tall and can shoot from long distance. He is a one of a kind gem. As his skills continue to reach a high level, expect the Asian countries like China, Korea, Japan, Iran to get a lot of headaches when Sotto is on the floor.

He’s not too skinny rn or anything, but doesn’t look strong enough to play center in the nba, I think he can grow into a really talented small forward in the league and take advantage of his height by shooting over people
