If im not mistaken that quattro is a special hillclimb version aka it is outside of any regulations so I would not be surprised if could produce more power than regular Group B Cars. The pikes peak quattro made around 750hp.

Ironically the quattro was a parts bin special, most of the cost of the car was the drivetrain, even the engine wasn't designed for the quattro

this was piece of art back then... car with arround 600 hp.. 0-100kmh in little over 3 sec... somebody even say on gravel... in 1985!!!! I don't even know any "super" car from that time that had those numbers...

I know they’ve got the engine hanging out the opposite end but these Quattros remind me of Porsche 935’s with their huge power and the pitching and squatting under power/braking. Awesome cars 👍🏻

I was in Mailscote Wood in for the 1985 RAC Rally and it was dark, cold and very still, until we heard the shriek of the 2 Audis in the hands of Walter Rohrl and Hannu Mikkola. I can still remember that sound. Never forgotten.
