Best of Banger Racing Crashes 2021!

2021 was one of the best Banger Racing seasons i've seen so far! Although the season started in June we have seen some huge hits and crashes and some of the wrecks were insane! Enjoy the video!
What is Banger Racing?
Banger racing is a tarmac, dirt, shale and chalk track type of motorsport event popular in countries such as the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium and the Netherlands. Old scrap vehicles are raced against one another, with the winner being the first to the checkered flag after a set number of laps. Contact to damage an opponent's car is permitted and encouraged within the formula, with cars progressively becoming more damaged throughout an event. Races are held at an oval or tri-oval circuits that are up to 1⁄4 mile (440 yd; 400 m) long; however, on certain occasions, races are held in a figure of eight configurations. Banger racing is often confused with stock car racing, although there are differences between the two, despite often racing at the same tracks. Banger racing is also often confused with Nascar.

I can't believe a 1973 Toyota Crown Coupe is dressed up for one of these races. Here in Australia, that car would be rebuilt around the VIN if need be, restored it's a 50k vehicle here :(

We really only have occasional demolition derby's which are usually part of the winged Sprintcar circuit (in NSW) The V8 supercars are considered the leading motorsport in Australia. We used to have the WRC but that was a few years ago. As far as I am aware, we don't have any established banger racing circuit. Cheers @@NathanMcCabe88

Came to check out what Banger Raci g is about, after playing some Wreckfest! Got to say, some fun looking stuff! Kind of like a mash-together of what we Americans have in Enduros and Demo Derby, but at high-speeds! Awesome stuff!

Yeah the only trouble is that incarace don't promote national bangers that much at Hednesford apart from civil war veterans day and the bws meeting, the rest is either 1600 cc bangers or back to basic ones which aren't as good

Ken iemand mij uitleggen waarom ze mooie en gewilde klassiekers gebruiken? Ik zie in de gouwigheid een Jaguar xjs , xj , Rolls-Royce silver shadow, Chrysler 300c . Kunnen ze niet gewoon schijthokken gebruiken ?

In principe zijn dit schijthokken. De klassiekers zijn meestal onbetaalbaar voor deze hobby tenzij door en door verrot of andere schade. Dan belanden ze hier. Het spuitwerk doet anders vermoeden maar daarachter is het niet veel meer.

Dat is dan wel zo ,maar soms worden er klassiekers aangeboden als project en die zijn dan ook in staat van ontbinding en worden alsnog verkocht en opgeknapt. Die Jaguars zullen wel inderdaad de nodige roest hebben , maar alles is Op te knappen. Een Jaguar xjs in slechte staat brengt alsnog meer op dan 5 Volvo v70’s. Die Chrysler 300c zal wel economisch Total loss zijn dgv alle elektronica die erin zit. Die Jaguars vindt ik echt zonde , doet gewoon een beetje pijn om er naar te kijken. Maarja jammer genoeg kopen ze zo’n ding en is het dus hun auto en kunnen ze er mee doen wat ze willen. Jammer genoeg kopen ze geen bmw’s , vw enz

@@ThaDutchDK1989 meeste banen mag je alleen achterwielaandrijving hebben. Dus dan valt er al veel af. Veel van die jaguars kosten maar paar honderd euro. Ze kopen vaak alleen maar het casco wat nog over is. Snap verder wel wat je zegt hoor. Soms zit er wel eens eentje bij dat je denkt die had ik wellicht wel voor op de weg gewild mja kunt moeilijk alles kopen.
