Wood fired food is always the best. After years of camping, and then cooking, I perfected cooking on an open fire. My family says it was the best food they ever had. They hated roughing it and wouldn't go camping again. I'm thinking I should set up a fire pit off the kitchen now!

told ya i'd be binging- and watta better way ta do it than thru a compilation video :) i am truly amazed by the way! How in the world did you make that stew in what looks to be a birch bark pot without it burning up? Is it b/c it's full of liquid or because it isn't birch bark after all? Either way, I, as well as everyone else here ;), is pleased as punch to get to know ya it seems! Hooray for positivity- it is just the tiniest of silver linings to come out of the volcano coverage- but i do think we have to take even the small blessings in the big tragedies as wins, because in the end, they are still gifts...peace be with you
