The thing I love the most about James Earl Jones is he’s always been gracious and happy to portray his iconic character in media like this. You can tell he must have a great sense of humor, like when he did those “totes Magotes” commercials with Malcolm Mcdowell. ❤

After "The Empire Strikes Back" was released in 1980, a fashion/ entertainment/ lifestyle magazine (Esquire, GQ, one of those or another) included a contest that you could enter by naming every Star Wars character in their list by their photo or image, and then sending it in for a drawing and a prize. You had to name every character correctly. A lot entries flubbed the names of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca, even C-3PO and R2-D2. Every single entry correctly named "Darth Vader". The most iconic and recognized costume/ character design ever!

Is the animation all 'stop motion'? If so, how is Vader's cloak made to look so naturally 'flowing' as he moves? Is the fabric actually semi-rigid or wired? The effect is very impressive, especially if it all has to be adjusted frame by frame.
