No wonder, Vaijanthy Mala, whom we received in 1995 in UK when she was visiting, I even have photo with her & my late husband. It was year 95. Have literally seen this movie over 30 times and still can watch it and still I will be pausing scenes just to use the bathroom. I’m only in my 30s but I guess one really needs to have a passion for the performance of the great Dilip Kumar. I say no one can do this role better ever. May Allah bless him.

I fully endorse your views. I have seen this movie after Dilip Kumar's death for the 1st time...and i m moved to the core. The man was a wizard with dialogues and expression. The movie haunts me....Dilip Kumar haunts me....and i realised it is sacrilige to compare SRK and all others with the greatest actor to have walked this earth. 'Paro mai aa gaya hoon' the infinitely tragic line with the saddest eyes ever to have adorned a human face will remain etched in my mind as long as i live. My regrets....i should have started watching his movies in his lifetime. Deedar, Amar, Aan, Naya Daur, Yahudi, Ganga Jamuna, Andaz, Babul....one by one i have watched all of them...and the acting prowess of the man has struck me like a tornado. I would say.. its one of the most beautiful experiences of my life.. to have discovered the magic of Dilip Kumar. RIP Yousuf Khan Sahab! Mujhe maaf kardijiye iss deri se aap ko jaanne ke liye.
