Dini Petty was a class act interviewer. She did her research, asked interesting questions and listened well. I saw her show when I was little but seeing her again in adulthood I appreciate it more of course but also day and night from what we have today. All prewritten fluff and politics. She was a different breed.

omg dini conducted this so so well I couldn't stop laughing. most interviewers feel intimidated (?) by harrison but she really just went on having fun and getting him to have fun too, even when asking some personal questions. she's just brilliant.

So I watched this full episode in real time back when it aired, and Dini revealed after the interview that she told Harrison beforehand that she would ask that as a gag, and let’s pretend that you’re offended. It didn’t get laughs however and it played very real because hes such a good actor.

Before the interview I walked into his dressing room and said; You do a lot of interviews "Yes" so do I . Want to have fun> "Yes" OK, I'll start and argument. You can do anything you want including walking off the set but promise you'll come back. "Lets do it" So the whole thing was a set up would have been cool if he had walked off the set and come back...
