Its TRUE since this year we want to show other face of epic music that a lot of people do not see or just ignore it. Epic is not just about action, war, hero, dragon, kill and death... Epic music is the kind of music that can lifting your EMOTION up to maximum. It could make you CRY and SMILE at the same time. Its magic of epic music. We know a lot of you may not like this year version. But if you can remember the name of track with the story behind its melody. ‪#‎InsightTheBest‬ Chapter 2 - Success in Failure? Its nearly one week from the day we release "The Best of Epic Music 2015". Its time to tell a story and our feelings about 2 months of our work. It could be long so I will break it into many chapters. FAIL Its nearly one week (5 days) and we just reach 50k views. The speed is 10k views/day. That means if we keep this speed we can only reach 300k after first month and 4.2 million views after first year. Compare to the speed of around 30k views/day of The Best 2012 and The Best 2014. We can said we are already failed at this time of the post. No matter how many good feedback we received, the number of views clearly show that our clips are not good as we think. The thing we scare the most now become the reality. I hope I'm wrong since we still have time. SUCCESS From the beginning of project, our goal is to make The Best 2015 surpass the versions of 2012 and 2014. It's a hard choice to decide between: (1) keep doing what fans already love and (2) try a new stuff and may fail. In final we think without trying new idea we never surpass ourselves. But life is not a game, when you made a decision you cannot rollback, you must accept the reality that we have failed. But at least there are around 33% of fans love our new style. It could be a small success but your feedbacks encourage us to continue challenge ourselves with new ideas. SUCCESS IN FAILURE When you have nothing, it's easy for you to lose. The more you success, the more you scare to be failed. My friends ask me why we spend a lot of energy on doing the stuff that cannot pay your bill, why you need delay for so long for a fan made clip. People who do not know think we are addicted on making a money maker clip. People who know just think we are a bunch of geek and selfish guys who do not care about their family to do a funny and childlist thing. Honestly I do not care about these gossips, the true story is we are afraid of making you - our beloved fans - disappointed. We fear of making a clip just we like but you do not like. In the past, we can just do anything we like and do not care about others since we just a group of 100 people. But now we have 300.000 people looking for our clip. It's a huge pressure to us day by day. May be not me but our team who must answer me "where is the demo?" everyday. We have go through day and night of endless working to release this product. Honestly, I myself have already a thought of giving up this project. Especially when you faces many times the copyright issue, lacking footage, failed ideas, remake again and again. We have tried nearly 10 version cinematic of Star Sky, we even can regconize Children of The Sun with just one music note after listening it day and night for whole month to find idea. Sometime, what you see is what not you think, you only know when you are really put all of your energy on doing something, after that, you can really know what you really love. Thats a true SUCCESS. Our success is just simple we know how much we love Epic Music. No matter what we fail, we will rise again. That's the message we want to put in "The Best of Epic Music 2015". Just follows your passion, it will help you surpass yourself. But no one can just live with passion without any support. That's why we always need more and more supports of all of you. Mình nghĩ vấn đề không phải ở style mới của các bạn, mình nghe thấy khá hay, clip làm cũng rất tuyệt, vấn đề ở đây là phần mở đầu khá "mềm", hoàn toàn không tệ nhưng không "máu" không kích thích người khác nghe, phải nghe thêm độ dăm phút mới thấy "nóng người" nên mất khách cũng là dễ hiểu. Nên nhớ clip năm 2012 thành công nhờ đoạn mở đầu hoành tráng cả về nhạc và cinematic, năm 2014 cũng vậy.

My humble opinion here: This is the best one so far. While the other versions gave me the power to fight with myself in order to improve, the power to understand my past, the power to feel emotions that otherwise couldn't experience and overall helped me as an individual, this year's version focuses on us as a community, as a whole. I may be wrong but it feels much more empowering. I don't feel like my journey is individual anymore, but it includes everyone on this planet. We may or may not like it but we influence others... Some thoughts to the relative success of this video: It's been really well done, I agree. A lot of effort has been put into the piece. A lot of thought went into the organization, but it was a bit clunky. I think that the best scene in the whole video was the TSFH Victory - The Hobbit scene. Extremely well put together, guys. A message from the previous video (2014) about being a hero and overcoming challenges with hardship and loss sent a VERY powerful message. I LOVED IT! This video showcases the message about the new gaming machines. That's an underwhelming follow-up to the previous video's message. That could've been worked on. I could throw some ideas if you guys would like. The structure of the video - First 10 minutes of Kung-Fu Panda is a good decision if a bit overdrawn (too long). That idea could've been pulled from the massive success of your 2012 mix with the Final Fantasy clip. The next part had a lot of small clips fused together into one big story, an idea which actually made me love the whole idea of mixes. Those moments when you are afraid to blink to miss the moment of the next clip are very memorable and make me come back to watch the clip again and again. The decision to advertise / show off the next gen machines was just a mistake. I'm sorry to say this, but you're too small to actually impact the sales success of such giants as XBOX ONE and PS4. If that decision was done by one of your sponsors, welcome to the troubles with them. :) Again, the TSFH Victory was amazing! It's placement in the music mix's story just wasn't supposed to be there. I would've put it closer to the end. It's a very powerful video and a very powerful song. It wasn't supposed to follow a 6 minute commercial for game engines. The next video about the musician's death is quite powerful. Well done. I would've put the Victory and the whole Hobbit part after that song. After the Hero memories, put in the Star Sky. That would've put a proper mood. Huh, Star Sky perfectly fits Kerrigan's love for Jim. I didn't realize that. That decision was PERFECT. She can't find solace in his words.There was a bit of mistiming on the video for the music when Raynor grabs Arcturus. Keanu Reeves homage was unusual, and probably one of the things you set out to try in this video. It worked pretty well, but the story didn't empower us that much. One of the reasons we listen to Epic Music is to be empowered. I'll get to a psychological breakdown of the music at the end. The part with the war movies was done well, even if the music wasn't all that great. Never Back Down - Legacy of the Void part was done as well as could be done from their meld. Great job, guys. Unforgettable - Fast & Furious series belong together. They complement well. The issue I see here is that you guys again pay homage to an actor, rather than to the story. Too many eye-contact scenes and showing off how handsome that actor was. I respect what you're trying to do, but don't think that's the best decision.Disney's Rapunzel just doesn't belong in a video that is so full of violence, war, and death. Snape's Story is cute, the story matches, but doesn't really fit. Again it's homage to an actor much more than the actual story. That's a story that was never supposed to be shown in a "Best of Epic Music" video. The next story is powerful. Children of the Sun fits PERFECTLY. BUT it would fit much better earlier in the story. You're supposed to leave the viewer with an empowering message at the end. You left with a sense of responsibility that we're not prepared for. It's a message that's needed, yes, but it detracts your audience from enjoying the video for the sake of watching the video. If you put Chapter 11 at the end, it would be a nice ending. The SUPER strong ending of Children of the Sun just felt like too much epicness. That's it for my review. I loved the video, don't get me wrong. I appreciated it a lot. If you have a downloadable version somewhere, please let me know. I can't comment on the music choice, since I left the process of listening to all new songs in the epic music world a while back. Now, to the psychological breakdown of what the music meant to me back in early 2014. It is a perfect synchrony of many people working together. I'm a loner or used to be, at least. I was awed by the synchronicity of the masterpieces. The act of working together with somebody so well is something that drew me to the games and this music. It's always emotive, irreverent of whether positive or negative. The mixture of the music and the games made me weep sometimes from the very emotive scenes (2014 - robot looks at the boy and fires up his rocket hand - Empire of Angels soundtrack). I always yearned for a friend and that scene is a perfect representation of what I want in a friend. The knowledge that that will never happen was also always present in my mind. That type of an emotive scene was absent in this video. There were no STRONG Emotive scenes in this video. PM me or comment on this to let me know if I said something wrong or somesuch.

The review I am doing is for "Hero Memories" of RSM and Epic Soul Factory. I first need to say that it was truly amazing. To the beginning from the end, I really felt the emotions that the song wanted us to feel and the video was genuily made for we can feel that we are among them, which really amazed me. I like collaborations, like this one, because it allows two different (or not) styles, which, when well made can be really epic. I'm looking forward for another collaboration for RSM.
