Perhaps one reason why they don't do this anymore (I'm just speculating here) is because they formed their youtube style/identity at Inside Gaming, and so to make Bruce's laugh-wheeze a meme-like characteristic, they focused the audience's attention to it using the subtitle (and obviously for comical reasons too). They had to sell themselves as personalities with defining characteristics and Bruce's wheeze-laugh was one of them. To emphasise it now would be a bit too obvious since almost everyone in the Funhaus fanbase (especially old IG fans) knows about Bruce's wheeze only too well; we don't need to a cue. Perhaps the biggest reason however is that it's a joke that's been played out. At the time when they were using the subtitle, the wheeze joke was fresh.They used to do it all the time, Bruce's wheeze became a IG/Funhaus meme, and then they probably got bored of editing the visible wheeze subtitle. Kinda like the Game of Thrones question of the week. I don't think it would add anything now, and it would be kinda weird if they suddenly re-introduced it since, as I said before, Bruce's wheeze is so well known in the fan base that it would be kind of contrived or affected. It would be like if Bryan Cranston started saying "I AM the one who KNOCKS!" on every chat show or interview; I mean yeah initially it would be funny, but then it would get tiring and boring and people would be like "Yeah - I get it. It's from Breaking Bad. I get it. Jeeze". Also I think Bruce's wheeze is endearing and hilarious enough as it is in this more subtle state. That's just my opinion though.

Dear fuckers, I feel the need to share with you the story of how I stumbled upon Funhaus. It was a weird month for me, the Creatures were splitting up and I was rewatching the Let's Play Live announcement video and I was like "Who the fuck are these people????? ALL MY LIFE I've watched the Creatures and James and Aleks and now my youtube family is getting a divorce, I need something new". So, I first check AH and I was left unimpressed and then there was Funhaus. The first video I watched was a Demo Disk and I remember that my first thoughts were "Oh my, this blue eyed guy is fucking ripped" and "Uuuuuuuuuu this guy sitting at the computer is really fucking handsome" and "This Lawrence guy is fucking weird I love him" BUT!!!! I couldn't get behind the format of the show. One guy playing a game, two (or more) dudes sitting behind. A week went by and I kept thinking about that Demo Disk video and how I never gave Funhaus a chance. So, I search Funhaus, I subscribe and I watch the whole Demo Disk video. Fast forward 6 months later, I've watched every Funhaus video ever (I've rewatched Open Haus, GTA, Demo Disk about 5 times by now) and with the help of these ripped motherfuckers I've gotten over the injustice of the romanian educational system and now I'm at college and I have two dreams : 1. To say something so cool and funny that Bruce reads it on the comment show and 2. To find someone with whom I can share my love for Funhaus (because my friends aren't cool enough to understand how amazing you guys are). Thanks so much for everything and I can only hope that this comment will be read by someone at the Funhaus HQ. ( can't wait for eastern Europe RTX 2067)
