It's incredible how removing one aspect from the original game it really turns it into an unplayable mess. For those confused, Sonic Shuffle was originally released on the Dreamcast, which had a small display directly on the controller and would display the card you were hovering over when you would make your selection. No wonder they were having such a terrible time, especially when the AI would operate with the same understanding so it'd just look like straight up sorcery that it's picking all the right cards. ...something else I've just realized is that without that display from the dreamcast controller, this big basically trains your brain to count cards 😳

As far as I know, the carbuncle eats items in the player's inventory, when there's no items left to eat, it eats itself. Just imagine you're a character in Sonic Shuffle and you got the carbuncle, then it starts eating itself, you can hear it devouring its own flesh, you can hear it's pain and suffering, you can feel it's warm blood dripping on your own skin. You open your inventory to take a look, it looks back at you with a pained expression, before taking the last bite and completely eating itself. Every time you take an item out of yout inventory, it's drenched in blood, and every time you see the blood *you remember* ... Edit: 01:01:52. Sonic fucks Eggman's shit up, look at the way Eggman flies away dude holy crap.

I don't understand the S card. It's like, "if you get THIS card, you get to pick TWO cards!" But the S card counts as the first card and it gives you nothing... so it's basically like picking one card... so what the hell is the point of the S card?

I love this playthrough but it pains me that they decided NOT to play this one in person together. Because on the Dreamcast you're supposed to be able to use the controller to see your cards and help with certain minigames.

In case it hasn't been mentioned, on the original system, you could see your cards on your controller (I think). The grumps weren't aware, so that's why the play through was so chaotic and nonsensical

I mean if you want to do a compilation of commercials that would be cool, but one of the main reasons I don't watch the main channel is their constant need to make a sale. If not, thats cool.
