A lot of outsiders don't know how much of an impact JD makes on the Pats offense. Those power running plays is where he does his best work as a blocker and receiver. Making it tough for defenses to cover him and still the run. He's a gonna be an even bigger factor in this year's offense with Gronk and Bennett on the edge. Hope he stays healthy this year

Very underrated player for us.. Devilin is hard nosed and i feel he needs more touches he can be like a 3rd TE in some packages.

People didn't realize the impact his injury made on the Pats last year. He brings that hard-nosed element of toughness to the Pats offense. Wether it's blocking for a Legarette Blount touchdown or catch a screen pass, push through about 20 defenders and dive to the end zone, James Develin is a key part in the Pats offense and I'm excited that he's back, and healthy, for another season.

#TheUnicorn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fullbacks don't get a lot of love, especially in NE because they haven't carried many true FB's over the years... but you gotta love Develin. He's a big reason for the 'Blount Force Trauma', eating up blockers for LG, and on the rare chance he gets his hands on the ball, it's a broken tackle party.
