The best of kLSAIGAL.Completely absorbed in this great singers songs--the best of all male singers.Died at a young age.Very unfortunate to have been addicted to liquor.Naushad Sahebhas mentioned that the SAIGAL songs inSHAHJAHAN were possible only when the singer was in a stupor.So very sad.Sheer listening pleasure from a great singer.Wiiwe ever have one like him again.Not likely.Just listento Saigal Sahebs songs from My Sister(Meri Bahen)-,Shah Jahan And Tansen,--all 15 of them.

Wah !! Kya baat hai...This is music....Whoever has uploaded this, definitely deserves to be saluted. This compilation brings back nostalgic memories to me....During my school days, I remember listening to most of these compositions sung by my Father who unfortunately is not alive today to enjoy these golden melodies. One thing I must admit is; these compilations will always help me relive those great days of my life and also visualize my Father sitting in his chair and closing his eyes and belting all these compositions one after the other every time he got into the mood of singing......I miss him a lot today....but shall always remember him through these songs.

I reflect the same feelings. These songs of 1930 when we listen almost 90 years later we can enjoy every word, every phrase. What a clear voice ,with minimum background music,no sound enhancement, probably directly cut onto the record.What an achievement for K L Saigal. Really he is the First Superstar of Indian Cinema.
