Yes bro you are absolutely right, and during early days Mr. Mukesh used to copy Sehgal sahab, once Sehgal साहब himself presented a harmonium to Mukesh. I'm very big fan of Mukesh for almost four decades now and sorry to say that I started listning to Sehgal sahab only because of Mukesh. I always wish if Mr. Mukeah was there with us for another 10-15years more. मुकेश जी जहां भी हों भगवान को भी शायद उनपर गर्व होगा। ॐ शान्ति 🙏🌹🕉️

A fascinating programme with those forgotten songs of Saigal Saheb brought to life once more.I grew up listening often to Saigal Sahebs songs from--MY SISTER-SHAHAJAHAN-TANSEN etc.I got hooked to his musical charm.--his duets with KananBala-his songs with KCDEY -Pahari Sanyal-and Khursheed still ring in my ears. I have stopped listening to present day film music for obvious reasons. Saigal Sahebs music rejuvenated once again with the memories of those forgotten times.At 86 great recall/memories.Thanks.

Bahut maja aaya. Saigal Saab is timeless. Mukesh ji did not mention his guru’s name. If anyone knows, can you respond? As Saigal Saab influenced both Mukesh ji and Kishore da, his Guru essentially influenced more than half of all singers.
