25:05 Ain’t gonna lie I was tearing up when this episode first came out and Woolie said that shit. Been following all these guys since Kirby on that shitty “camcorder pointed at tv” recording. Thanks for the great content Woolie!

I listened to this episode at like 7AM to block out the noise outside so i could get some sleep, and i distinctly remember the feeling of having tears well up under closed eyelids

39:45 this one really hits me close for a couple reasons. I do have a twin sister, I love her to death. But we were born about two months early because apparently "I broke the water" everyone knew it was baby me and they loved to tell me about it. Whether or not they meant it this way, I grew to feel guilty about it, like I was actually somehow at fault, and that guilty feeling made it really hard for me to open up to my mother emotionally growing up. Not sure if I have a point in telling this stuff here, but I felt like sharing

If you didn't sing along with Woolie at the start you're either a liar who haven't lived the joy of this game.

I love Woolie going "Going around putting steering wheels in people's heads to control them? That's TOO CRAZY!" like a year or so after Super Mario Odyssey came out.

Reggie, My Dude, I feel that. I was also meant to have a Twin but had the same thing happen. At least it's one of those things you can grow numb/get used to thinking about.

Man do I love this LP, at first I didn't care, then I kept watching, and now this is the third time I've put this video on either to fall asleep or just simply have in the background.

On the subject of the 'good job' Whiplash speech, and Michael Jackson / Tiger Woods's talent in their fields supposedly coming from the pressure and abusive training that they were forced to endure as kids: JK Simmons has said that his character is an abuser rationalising his shitty actions. Research has proven that overwork doesn't create brilliance, it stymies it.

Reggie, I'm like 90% Whiplash is a satire. It's got a surface-level motivational message, but the whole movie is about how a guy destroys every relationship in his life to win the approval of a mercurial, abusive teacher and a mercurial, abusive audience. The only place the film really winks at the audience is when they mention J.K. Simmons previous golden boy killed himself.

So ofcourse this has me stopping and opening up my game again (the copy I bought when Woolie started this video series), but then- "I have a Katamari Plushie". So ofcourse is has me googling for an amazon link, here it is www.amazon.ca/Katamari-Squishable-Plush-Damacy-Bandai/dp/B00OOAB97K ofcourse it is unavailible. How could I not stop to appreciate the glorious first jot on the list "7 squishy inches of great good thing". Luckily it is unavailable because that shit could have been listed for $300 and I would be like Pat *rubbing my face because it's like free money, they're paying me to buy it* Long Story short: Katamaris are awesome and I'm jealous of Woolie.
