Presenting a collection of some magical compositions of Laximakant Pyarelal. Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma is an Indian film Music Director, predominantly in Bollywood as Laxmikant-Pyarelal, composer duo. The legendary artist collaborated with another music maestro Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar and The duo made their iconic contributions by composing some of the most loved songs in their entire journey together. The popular and successful composer duo of their times, composed music for about 750 Hindi movies from 1963 to 1998. Pyarelal is the son of Pandit Ramprasad Sharma, the famous trumpetist, who taught him the knowledge of Music. later he moved to Goa and learned violin from Anthony Gonzales. He belongs to a middle-class family. Due to his family’s financial conditions, he started earning At the age of 12, as a studio musician. Laxmikant-Pyarelal worked with almost all well-reputed music directors of the 1950s. In 1953, they became assistants to Kalyanji-Anandji and worked with them as assistants till 1963. They worked as music arrangers for many music directors including Sachin Dev Burman (in Ziddi) and also for Rahul Dev Burman (in his first film Chhote Nawab). Laxmikant-Pyarelal and R D Burman remained very good friends, even when Laxmikant-Pyarelal started giving music independently. R D Burman played mouth organ for two of their songs for the film Dosti. Laxmikant once made a guest appearance playing himself as a composer of the Song "Dil Ki Baat" in Teri Kasam (1982), which had music by R D Burman.
