I’m a fraghead from way back. I’m nearly expert level. I’ve destashed once in over 50 years of collecting. I stopped counting at 3000 fragrances in the early 2000’s. I’ve been a moderator on perfume chats and Facebook groups and an avid collector of vintage fragrances for decades…I am just establishing a bit of street cred here. I remember a conversation I had with a dancer in the Paris Opera Ballet company (in the eighties). She said the only fragrance they were allowed to wear on stage or in practice was Guerlain. It didn’t cause breathing difficulties for other performers or the dancer wearing them. Fragrance and fragrance regulations have come a long way in minimizing allergic reactions to fragrance. You might want to track brands that have a “DNA” that agrees with you and notes that are problematic for you. Most skin reacts with fragrance differently as well. You might find certain synthetics or natural components agree with you and others may be amplified or distorted. I also find certain perfumers create scents that just suit me. It’s worth noting who is creating a fragrance. Most perfumers are contracted out and share their talent with many different brands or houses. When you begin to sample and explore fragrances, keep a record or diary. Scent Bar, Aedes Perfumery, Twisted Lily, and Osswalds are shops I can recommend for niche fragrances. There is of course, a Byredo shop as well. If you want to explore a bit of the history of fragrance, you might want to visit the Santa Maria Novella branch in NYC. They are credited with bringing fragrance to France via Catherine de Medici. I wish you safe travels in your fragrance journey.

Alicia you prompted me to go the Dior site and look up those blushes. 🤩They are beautiful! But, I've decided I don't need them because I have four Hourglass face palettes with similar shades and highlighters! Whew! They almost got me!! 🤣Also, I've been meaning to tell you ... I really miss how you used to end your videos by saying "And that is ... a wrap." I always said it along with you. Please bring that back! 🙂

Can you please do an Indepth video of the new daneesa myricks palette similar to how you do mothership videos (talking about colors combinations)? I’m kind of having trouble thinking about this palette in a wearable/dramatic way. Maybe also talking about how to use it with additional neutral or color palettes.

Ooohhh this jewelry is intriguing! I've had 2g plugs since 2000 and I've been looking at plugs with holes for post earings just to switch things up. That's the appeal I think 🤔 I tend to put on my plugs and wear them until they need replacing. I don't wear much jewelry, especially on the road, but I have been LOVING my tiny string of natural pearls lately.

I love byredo bibliotheque. 💓 It's possibly my favorite fragrance of all time. If someone doesn't find it sexy that I would rather smell like books than flowers... they just don't get me. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I don't know what it is about higher quality fragrances, but I hear ya. Sephora now has fragrance in the skin cade aisle and I just can't. I just want to swatch the new YSL bush withinout taking extra inhaler.

Alicia, many forget that prior to the YSL Quads, were the Couture Clutch Palettes that were the size of PML Motherships. Now, these were something special to show off. I have all but two of these palettes. When Dior came out with those Blush/Highlighter Duo's, I swore that I wasn't going to buy them. That was until I spied one on eBay, which was the one you have. I then bought another two from the same site, but I'm going to definitely leave it those. It's surprising what one can find there, try looking up your Byredo Perfumes. I have got a bottle of Rose Of No Man's Land, but not before I tried out the Body Lotion, Hair Mist, Hand Cream & Sanitiser plus Shower Gel first. They're not exactly in the lower price range, so be sure about what you choose. That goes twice for Dries Van Noten. I'm a VIP Member a my local Jewellers and have been collecting for sometime. I'm in love with coloured gems in particular, but everything I buy - even the diamonds, are totally real and from Mother Nature. When I walk into my Jewellers, they know never to offer me something that isn't entirely real. I'm shocked at the prices that are charged by those who are sponsoring your video. That's far more than the cost for good quality diamonds from the ground. Personally, I would not refer to these as luxury. Just because something costs more money, does not make these items ones of luxury. I have a considerable collection of designer leather garments that are either one off pieces or very limited releases. If these garments weren't real leather, but the prices were hiked up, they are not luxurious by far. One cannot compare the highest grade shearling and leathers to faux materials, no matter the cost. We can turn this back to make-up, eye-shadows in particular. We know that certain Indie Brands can make some of the best shadows available, yet they aren't referred to as luxury. I suppose it's in the eye of the beholder what each consider to be luxurious items. Actually, it was the Byredo Remembrance Palette that led me to your Channel, where I subscribed immediately. If you didn't review or show items that are of interest to me, this wouldn't have occurred. My interests lie in luxury and some Indie Brands. You're a connoisseur of PML and Natasha Denona just as I am. No other Content Creator covers these brands like you do and I thoroughly appreciate this. I lost all will-power, (again), the other day and bought three Quads and the two available Duo's from Mother Pat. Honestly, it's hard to knock back a 40% saving! The one Duo that interested me the most was the Black/Yellow Gold version, but that wasn't available. I've been having a ball on the second hand market and have three Tom Ford Quads on the way. I discovered that Hazy Sensuality was available for AUD$129.00, but as soon as I added this to my Watchlist, I received an offer for only AUD$85.00! That included free shipping too. Mind you, this is available at retail stores right now for a mere AUD$160.00. From the 15 Quads available at one retailer, I own 10 of these and never paid remotely close to retail price. I would never have paid the $129.00 for Hazy Sensuality either, only hoped for an offer and I most certainly did receive one. I always stated that I would never have a full-priced item from Tom Ford in my home as I cannot justify such prices. Recently, I got a few of the lipsticks for only AUD$25.00each. Yes, I am the bargain hunter extraordinaire! It certainly pays to seek out this platform or whatever else you have going over there. Buy the way, you look lovely in that black top in the video. I wish you'd wear more items like that, just for that touch of femininity and style. I haven't spied your top Eye Palettes for 2024 yet, but I'm counting on my dearest Mineralscape as taking top spot with Xenon not far behind. I looked at whether I have any parcels coming today, and to my surprise, one of my three Clionadh orders is coming this morning! I have all five of my Cosmic Brushes Palettes now and looking forward to really delving in. I did use 'Tis The Season for Christmas Day, but the others are beckoning me too. Just when I was going to tighten the reins on make-up, especially eye-shadows, I discovered that I hadn't used one of my Tom Ford Quads in Tiger Eye. This créme formula was mind blowing, which then sent me to look for more. Never have I used a formula that was this light with so little product needed on the brush. No creasing either. Now that Lethal have changed manufacturers, I won't be buying from them again due to the formula being worse than sub-par. Never have I used worse shadows than those from the Avatar Collection in my life, both the mattes and shimmers. This from a brand that I had collected everything from. I feel gutted. I turned to Clionadh when the Dragonfruit Palette was recommended to me and was so impressed that I ordered the Deep Sea Treasures and about 10 singles. Then, Milly's collaboration was released and I ordered that plus the Shine-On Enhancer. After viewing the reductions, I ordered the Iridescent Series I plus the four Pastel Multichromes. Wait until you see this on the news - 'Australian Women Smothered By Eye-shadow Haul'. Hope you have a nice New Year's, whatever your plans. It's already 0900hrs on New Year's Eve here. Fragrance is the one area that I am quite happy with having one day fresh and one night deeper option, I don't have the same interest as I do for having a medium makeup collection. That being said when it is finally time to replace/refresh the perfumes I do really enjoy exploring and investing in the next set

Yeah you have Mojave Ghost. That is my favourite with Gipsy water. The Vetiver hand cream (the only thing I could afford) I put it on my neck as a perfume lol
