1:20 - oh I got a story! In 2003 I made my first trip to Evo. My friends and I are from the Houston area, we frequented Stargate so we knew some people who were going. We never had hopes of winning, but just wanted to see how far we'd get. All of us went 2 up 2 down except for me, I beat one guy. And the very next person I played was RowTron. And they stuck me on the big screen with him. I was a completely unknown person, they even intro'd me as "some guy". Didn't have to tell me, I knew what this was, a combo exhibition lol. My friends from SG tried to give me a pep talk on the way up to the cabinet, but we all knew it wasn't going to do any good. And it didn't. He wiped the floor with me, even did some new tech like a mid air reset with sent, beat the hell out of me. But the second game, just after round start, I had IM on point and did a proton cannon and caught him and his assist on first attack. Somebody in the crowd went "RANDOM!". So a week later I had an all white plain shirt made with a tiny taunting IM on the back with "Random Proton Cannon" written underneath. I wore that fuckin shirt everywhere lol.

You could play this game forever and never get sick of it... such a deep roster and so many ways to win. Justin Wong contribution to the community deserves respect... so many in-game moments... great commentary highlighting other great players and new tech... a voice for the gamers... but, his tier list in particular has given the community a legit was to balance teams out by using the 7pt system.

Its not even damage its the ability to land things or convert off a random hit and guys like Hayato or Sabertooth simply cant do what Magneto or Sentinel can. Hell Cable with his awesome JHK has better rushdown than over half the cast since they are just gonna be jumping in with HK anyways you might as well have a huge dropkick and AHVBx3
