JWong during EVO 2013, after he got 3-0'd by Flocker in Winners Semis. + was down 2-0 against Chris G in losers QF, & managed to win 3 straight. (That Helm Breaker counter during game #4) + 3-0'd Cloud805, an upcoming (but solid) ZmC player + 3-1 vs Angelic; got sloppy towards the end but JWong managed to win, & made it to GF + managed to reset the bracket vs Flocker, thanks to that Akuma comeback - (I would argue that) had JWong not dropped that infinite combo w/ Storm on Flocker's Zero during game #5, he would've taken EVO 2013. But, it gave him the motivation to exercise his demons and win EVO 2014. But yeah, 2013-2014 was def JWong at his absolute best

YES THIS! It was amazing that Justin won every match! Stayed in winners the whole time with his non top tiered team. Then the very next year KBR's non meta ultra aggressive rushdown team wins it all. Incredible!

Hulk isnt low tier in MvsC3. People got this idea that there was a god tier like in Marvel 2 of a couple characters but theres some much crazy stuff spread across the cast that a lot of people can "just win:"at any time. MODOK Firebrand Nova Hulk lots of characters started showing up around this time and showing crazy tech showing the game wasent just Zero May Cry

Taking a look at this, I don't know what's worse: in the last proper year UMvC3 was in EVO a Chun-Li/Phoenix/Morrigan wins it all, or that in the year it returns as a Throwback Tournament, we have a ZMC Mirror Grands.

Marvel 3 was PEAK versus games and nothing has come close to being as good as Marvel. DBFZ isnt even a contender. Whenever i play mvci or dbfz i just ask myself, "Why am i not just playing marvel?" Marvel 2 could be argued as the "better game" for sure, but marvel 3 just existed at a better time in the FGC so it inherently makes it better imo

And it's not even like he's winning everything. But that's besides the point. You don't just win Evo because of Zero, and those Evo Champs didn't simply win it because they played zero, so they deserve to be in a video that's shouting out all of the Evo winners.
