I find Mima Ito to be a dedicated player in table tennis. She displays a wide range of expressions while playing, which can sometimes be off-putting, but I eventually realized that it's just her genuine personality, and it's adorable. Moreover, she is exceptionally skilled in table tennis. Her unique serving style is like a form of artistic movement. I really enjoy watching her matches. It's a pity to know that she might not be able to participate in the upcoming Olympics, but I hope there will be more tournaments where we can see her in action. I support you, Mima Ito!

@@rainaaa29 To represent Japan in Olympic table tennis, players need to compete in a certain number of matches and accumulate points to qualify as Olympic athletes for that year. Mima Ito complained that this system prevents her from focusing on training and studying the playing styles of Chinese players. She suggested that representatives should be chosen based on international rankings instead of spending so much time playing domestic matches. However, her proposal was rejected by the Japan Table Tennis Association. Due to the scoring system used by the Japan Table Tennis Association, Mima Ito was unable to secure a spot in the women's singles event for the Olympics. As a result, she won't be able to compete in the women's singles at the Olympics. According to news reports, she was angry about not being able to participate in the women's singles and subsequently gave up her Olympic qualification for the women's table tennis team event.
