Hes one of only 3 interviewers I know of that people look forward to seeing. The other two being Graham Norton and Sean Evans since both of them try to ask poinant questions and don't treat the guests as being stupid. Now Graham Nortan gives his guests some free booze which helps loosen them up a bit so they laugh and tell memorable stories while feeling comfortable. The third person is Sean Evans from the youtube series Hot Ones because his questions are always on point almost like Nardwuar but him and the guest both eat spicy hot wings. Most guests tend to love being on there even if the hotter sauces used can be pure murder on the tongue lol. Frankly those 2 and Nardwuar are the only 3 interviewers I've seen where guests commonly say they're looking forward to it which is a high honor.

Andreas Kuusisto Nothing generational about it. I heard Revolver and Sgt. Pepper’s for the first time as a teenager, about ten years ago or so, and even half a century after their original releases they still blew my mind. Anyone who can’t appreciate the innovation or songwriting of songs like “A Day in the Life” and “Tomorrow Never Knows”, given their age and how they sound contemporary even today (even pioneering looping and sampling), has no business expecting their criticisms of music to be taken seriously. They’ve already established that they have subzero temperature, ice cold takes. It’s like saying The Godfather is a bad movie. You can dislike it all you want (personal taste is what it is), but to say it’s _not good_ is frankly ignorant.

Nardwuar is the creepy superfan that gets to meet all his idols. Knows stuff some of the rappers forget. Truly amazing at what he does.

How could anyone be mad or give this man a hard time when he interviews them? Dude is awesome and does his due diligence to research everything he can. And he is respectful throughout

When I graduated high school in 2012 I got to do a speech for some reason and I wrapped it up with "keep on rockin' in the free world" and by setting up everyone in the audience to say "Doot doo" because watching Nardwaur interviews through high school made him one of my heroes.
