I have been listening her songs since 1982 in every Ramaz because at that we had just cassette player to listen their melodious songs and we used to play at sehri time to motivate us, because there was no concept of television broad cast at sehri time and my elder sister used to play on her small cassette player. And now in 2019 I am recalling and getting fresh my memories with their songs whereas most of the persons have passed away of family as well but .... Can't be forgotten.

I was born and raised in South India listening to Nazia. Actually she was a BIGGGGG part of my childhood and was the first artist ever I idolised. I can still remember that awful day I heard about her death. She was a beautiful soul... Great art never cares about borders and the political agendas. Now I live abroad and when my Pakistani friends and colleagues talk about some Indian artists with similar adoration and respect, it reminds me how normal everybody is in every country when their politicians and armies fight with each other.

As a teenager growing up in Hyderabad of the late 70's and early 80's these songs from Nazia had such an impact on me and my siblings. We would listen to them on cassettes played on a Panasonic tape recorder/player. Can never get this album out of my head. I now live in New Zealand and advise more people to come and settle here but I have to listen to this album at least once a week to reconnect me to those glorious younger years. Tears in my eyes while writing this. The popularity she got could not get by leading singers of her time. 65 million records sale in 1980 shows that what kind of pop singer she was. RIP

As a Mauritian artist too and pastor I still listen and bath in her melodies. There have been lot of female singers like Agneta Faltskog(ABBA), Tina Charlesan, Alisha Chinnai etc but Nazia Hassan remains my nightingale since 1980! May Lord Jesus Christ shows mercy and grace to her soul for Eternal life where I may one day meet and sing along with her in Heaven for God's glory!
