There really is a good amount of subtlety to these, and continuity, especially with dialogue skips, Baradun seemingly being aware of whats going on, but not caring because he's a very powerful and important npc, so just being a dick, Greg understanding immediately what it means seeing an escort version of him following a player and so on.

This guy deserves his own movie. Need to get Greta back and his baby. To add in. I would pitch the story to be along the lines. Greta reappears but with no memory. Greg and Greta goes on a journey to get her memories back. At journeys end. They found out that the original Greta was not a true NPC but a controlled player from the developers that fell in love with Greg. Knowing that wont work. That person creates a new self aware NPC Greta as a love letter to Greg and to always have someone similar to the original and the real person. Starting a new romantic journey. But thats my pitch. Could go into an arc if not movie. Edit: Most people have that one person that got away. But I always wondered if another version of me in another Universe got that chance to be with that person I always loved. It would put a closure to the what if and put me more at peace knowing that version of me was able to fulfill what could have been. Same for the Original Greta who could not fulfill that role so created another for her closure and Gregs happiness.

Gregg needs a new patch update that reinstates his wife and child...but the new patch gives a quest too where Greta needs to be saved from a fate worse than death but once they get there the child has been sold to slavers so that gives a secondary or optional quest to rescue the child giving Gregg more angst if the player doesn't rescue them.
