I think Yanami likes that Nuku is her outlet to remove stress. She's very comfy with him and wants him to be around. I wonder what her response would be if Nuku actually started getting closer to another girl or hung out with guy friends more, would she be needy and lonely like an ignored GF? She seems to always tease and think that Nuku has a thing for her so it might be a big shift for her if he showed a sign of liking another girl or some guy confessed to her instead.
