Yeah, given what was said in multiple interviews/posts, it's pretty much confirmed S3 will come out next year (most likely in the first half) and we'll more than likely get the first teaser with the release date next month.

I think it would be great if Robert Kirkman started writing an Invincible universe spinoff based on the viltrumites, just like he did with the Guarding The Globe spinoff series. The book could be about the viltrumites from thousands of years in the past, way before even Nolan was born at the time of emperor Argall. It would give Kirkman a chance to expand on the world he created, show the beginning on how the viltrumites decided to go around the galaxy conquering planets all the way to Thaedus betraying the empire not agreeing with the conquering idea killing Argall and going into hiding. Show how the great purge came to be, it could be something along the lines of maybe there were viltrumites who chose Thaedus's side which could be what resulted to the purge that we saw back in season 1 episode 8 flashback of viltrumites killing each other.

February yo, if anything by modern day standards that's remarkably fast for a new season and between 2 and 3. One Punch Man by comparison season 1 came out in what 2014 I think or 15 season 2 2019 and season 3 still in progress and not released yet.

I mean, it's pretty much confirmed it's gonna come out sometime next year (for example, by one of the main creators of the comics who is also involved in making the show - Ryan Ottley) and Ross Marquand (if you dunno, he voices characters like The Immortal) said few months ago that it'll most likely premiere in early 2025. Also, when asked when we'll learn about the release date of S3, Kirkman stated it'll be announced very soon this year and he also said "If only there were other big conventions happening at some point". The closest big events are LA Comic-Con (October 4-6) and NYCC (October 17-20) and on both these conventions Ryan Ottley will be one of the guests and Invincible will be promoted in some way. I expect a teaser with the release date during one of these conventions, probably NYCC given that it wouldn't be the first time there's Invincible teaser/trailer there (unless they're gonna do something like the release date reveal at LA Comic-Con and the teaser at NYCC). And assuming Ross Marquand was right about S3 coming out in early 2025, I expect the full trailer in February/March and the premiere in March/April. Also, if we'll get the teaser with the release date at NYCC, it's probably gonna be teased shortly before (likely few days) this event starts.

@@StarvingAndHunger I hate getting into these types of conversations but definitely not. Buu is at Super Saiyan 3 level and regular Super Saiyan can obliterate an entire planet with ease, at Buu's level a being can fly around destroying solar systems without effort. The next step above this, which Buu is not far off, is breaking down the reality of actual universes just with your inherent level of power - it's not an ability, it's just that the universe literally starts falling apart. On top of this, unless you're much stronger than him he can absorb you, or turn you into food or regenerate from any damage. He's far beyond anybody in Invincible and 99.99% of current DC characters including Superman. Now for the caveat, it doesn't mean he's better, 'stronger' or a better written character... they're two completely different universes with their own rules and concepts of power. I just made a story, the main characters one and only power is that he is slightly stronger than anybody you compare him to from any universe. I just made another story, the main characters one and only power is to makes whoever they verse slightly weaker than themselves from any universe. That's essentially what these discussions are like and how pointless they are.
