Here are some of the best and funniest moments from Peter Griffin which I believe broadly portray the type of comedy used by his character in seasons 1 to 4. The video includes insulting and making jokes about popular topics and relatable real life situations and personifying them.
I do not own ANY of the property and rights, they are owned by Twentieth Century Fox. I am simply giving commentary on the some of which I believe to be some of the best and funniest moments. This is considered to be fair use.
Family Guy is an animated show created by Seth Macfarlane which is about the Griffin family consisting of Peter (Father), Lois (Mother), Chris (Son), Meg (Daughter), Stewie (Baby Son) and Brian (Talking Dog). Other popular characters include Joe Swanson, Cleveland Brown and Glen Quagmire (neighbours), Carter Pewterschmidt (Lois’s father), Mort Goldman (Pharmacist and family friend), Dr. Hartman, Mayor Adam West and Tom Tucker (News Anchor). The show is in a fictional city called Quahog in Rhode Island. The show is extremely famous for its cutaway scenes that often insult celebrities, politics, religion, stereotypes, cultures and other popular topics.

Unlike peter griffin, after the scully era ended, the writers are trying to bring back some of the friendly and redeeming qualities from the early seasons to make Homer a likable character again. And the only good thing i like about of the current episodes is that they are trying something new and different to keep it fresh, even if it doesn’t work; most of the characters are still the same likable in my heart, except for Lisa, she’s a dead soul to me, an SJW Mary Sue mean-spirited karma hounding dead soul; and the fact that they are practically mixing the early season friendly qualities and the jerkass scully era qualities for homer’s character, which gives the writers an opportunity to be flexible and creative in their storytelling. This is all just my opinion, and do not trash me for it, because that only defines u ur self as a typical trashy person on the internet.

And I feel like once they brought back Family Guy after getting popular due to re-runs they did a good job for a season but then they really started to go downhill.

Yeah the movements are less fluid and the facial expressions are not as expressive in normal situations. the only time they try to make the animation fluid is during grossout scenes that or fights. Another thing i noticed is most jokes are explained, which is the worst thing that can happen to a joke. its not as funny if you have to sit and explain it.

I feel like this perfectly shows how the show has degraded over time in both comedy and animation. The show used to be really good at ma,ing really stupid jokes funny with how the characters reacted to them. Not to mention they did a lot of jokes that would lead into other jokes, or even come full circle to screw the audience. And the animation really being that the characters used to move more, show more personality, and get this, they actually moved their faces.
