Great video and for everyone that attacks Kelli for getting on girls over the years for their weight....THIS is a prime example of ONE of the reasons why you cannot be carrying around an extra 10lbs of weight. Those tiny uniforms show EVERYTHING. I mean those girls couldn't even hide a cutlet or a comb in their bra. lol But, seriously....you have to be in seriously perfect shape to pull off those uniforms. They all look great. This was such a fun video. Thank you!

Diana no the reason she could tell is because this is after the fitting. The uniform was made for them specifically to their measurements which was why it showed when they added extra.

Usually I’d be annoyed by the weight deal buttttt with the uniform I understand and I feel like it’s a valid reason to ask them or certain girls to tone up or lose a pound or two. But regardless I think they look good

This might be a dumb question but why do they take these pictures BEFORE still having final cuts to make?? Like do they just take a bunch of pictures with/without rookie candidate? Or how does it work haha

The squad photo (with everyone all together) is done after they announce the final team...so only the people who made the final team are in that picture. The individual test photos are the ones that they do during training camp on “cameo day”. IIRC, they use the test photos from cameo day as part of the evaluation process, before final cuts. If someone doesn’t photograph well, that could be a factor in eliminating them. The way this Best Of video was edited, they didn’t show that the squad photos were being done after final cuts.

Does anyone think it's weird to make such a big deal about the cameos? They're dancers. Whether or not they look good in a photograph seems kind of meaningless. Sure they need to be pretty but they're performers, not models. Kelli always says how important cameos are but why?

They're important for the promotion of the dcc. The pictures need to look good because it represents the brand of the dcc. These are the pictures that they autograph for fans as well. They need the girls to look good on camera since they will be taking pictures a lot in this position. Hope that makes sense!
