She came back with a tighter physique, a more polished solo routine, and a much more mature and articulate attitude. She went from a little girl who didn’t know what to say during media day to outshining Meredith, who’s 8 years older than her and should have been sharper during interviews.

It's not that she was fat...it's just that she was heavier than originally and it was obviously something that affected her both mentally and physically. She was starting to doubt herself and you could tell. I am so happy she worked on herself and her confidence and came back stronger than ever.

She definitely wasn’t ready her first year but she came back and killed it! I think Kelli and Judy knew early into training camp that she wasn’t going to make it but kept her around so she could gain more experience. I don’t know why she gets so much hate there’s no denying that she is talented.

I think the only reason she got so much hate was because she was a legacy. I believe everyone acknowledges she wasn't ready her first year and believe she was kept around solely because she was a legacy. But I don't see how people can hate her after watching her second year of training camp because she definitely won that spot. She was so bright, improved a ton, and was one of the best rookies.

She gets hate because of all of the nepotism shown towards her. Not being cut for lying to Jinelle, Kelli, & Judy... getting show group over clearly better technical dancers... even the fact she gets a episode length video dedicated to her; while Kashara gets 8 minutes, people will view as favoritism; and honestly, while I like her it's pretty difficult to say she doesn't get special treatment.

@@bulansalya1950 I don’t think it was over a year. They said she’d gained 11 pounds since auditions. So based on training camp only being about 2 to 3 months, her gaining 11 pounds in a few months I’m sure seemed alarming to them. She was in no way overweight and yes she is absolutely beautiful, but they probably didn’t want her to continue to gain weight so rapidly. It also probably seemed like something else may have been going on with her mentally, because she did seem so stressed. I think with how much Kelly and Judy seemed to love her, it was more out of love than trying to put her down. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong about any of this, it’s just my 2 cents

I never said she was bad, I said she had some struggles, which is fine, everyone has those and look at her now, she made the team. I actually don't think shes bad, but no one knows what actually happened during the season other than what we all saw during the season, that's all I was saying that based off last season I was just curious if she actually was making that many mistakes or wasn't and the mistakes were all the cameras were catching, my guess is they won't have the camera as much on her this season and it'll be whoever elses turn in the camera.

I’ve watched the show since season 1 and I can really only think of 3 vets cut in training camp, Chelsea, Tara, and Hannah (there may have been more, but these are the only ones I remember). They seem to cut more from finals. I think one season they cut like 5 vets during finals.

My impression of her was that she was obnoxious, I didn’t realise she was nervous and insecure. I think their proportions are slightly different actually. Like Kelli said, Victoria's legs are really slim and long which made her stomach look more obvious, whereas KaShara is curvier all around so she looks more in proportion.

Her Maddie and Meridith all took their constructive criticism and worked so hard the whole year and came back so much more prepared, more mature and ready to take on the tryouts and training camp by storm. Honestly I relate to Victoria. I've always been filled with nervous energy that's overspilling at times but it's because I'm just really passionate. It's so great to see she has really grown into herself and calmed (?) down when need be. I do hope I will be like her one day.

Victoria is my favorite dcc, she has really grown on my watching her since her first tryout year. i adore her sweet personality and drive! i know if she continues at this rate i hope she is a group leader in the future

I understand “cheerleaders” need to be a specific weight. But do they really understand how much it affects confidence. Victoria has a beautiful body, weight shouldn’t be a requirement to be the “perfect cheerleader” for dcc.

I have more of a problem with them blasting her "weight problem" all over TV. They have their standards and whether I agree with them or not that's something they should have talked about in private without cameras. She's an 18-year-old, senior in freaking high school and they're spilling all of her insecurities for everyone to see. That's just not okay.
