She definitely wasn’t ready her first year but she came back and killed it! I think Kelli and Judy knew early into training camp that she wasn’t going to make it but kept her around so she could gain more experience. I don’t know why she gets so much hate there’s no denying that she is talented.

I think the only reason she got so much hate was because she was a legacy. I believe everyone acknowledges she wasn't ready her first year and believe she was kept around solely because she was a legacy. But I don't see how people can hate her after watching her second year of training camp because she definitely won that spot. She was so bright, improved a ton, and was one of the best rookies.

Not being cut for lying to Jinelle, Kelli, & Judy... getting show group over clearly better technical dancers... even the fact she gets a episode length video dedicated to her; while Kashara gets 8 minutes, people will view as favoritism; and honestly, while I like her it's pretty difficult to say she doesn't get special treatment.

It's not that she was fat...it's just that she was heavier than originally and it was obviously something that affected her both mentally and physically. She was starting to doubt herself and you could tell. I am so happy she worked on herself and her confidence and came back stronger than ever.

So based on training camp only being about 2 to 3 months, her gaining 11 pounds in a few months I’m sure seemed alarming to them. She was in no way overweight and yes she is absolutely beautiful, but they probably didn’t want her to continue to gain weight so rapidly. It also probably seemed like something else may have been going on with her mentally, because she did seem so stressed. I think with how much Kelly and Judy seemed to love her, it was more out of love than trying to put her down. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong about any of this, it’s just my 2 cents

I never said she was bad, I said she had some struggles, which is fine, everyone has those and look at her now, she made the team. I actually don't think shes bad, but no one knows what actually happened during the season other than what we all saw during the season, that's all I was saying that based off last season I was just curious if she actually was making that many mistakes or wasn't and the mistakes were all the cameras were catching, my guess is they won't have the camera as much on her this season and it'll be whoever elses turn in the camera.

You can tell at the beginning, Victoria was so excited and motivated to finally be on the DCC. The new documentary shows how much of a toxic work environment it is for women that struggle with ED. Not only that, but I think Kelly and Judy were too hard on her bc they didn’t want people to think she just got on the team bc her Mom used to be on the team and was best friends with Kelly. I’m so happy that she finally left! She is a leader and an amazing dancer. Kelly and Judy seem so fake, and talked down to her constantly. It’s no wonder she couldn’t take it anymore.

I’ve watched the show since season 1 and I can really only think of 3 vets cut in training camp, Chelsea, Tara, and Hannah (there may have been more, but these are the only ones I remember). They seem to cut more from finals. I think one season they cut like 5 vets during finals.

I really like Victoria she’s always been a sweetheart and sometimes she can seem older than who she is. Even though she does know the judges it didn’t seem like she needed their help to get in. I’m so proud of her going in as a high school senior. Now you can see how strong of a dancer she is.

dayton is super cute, but weirdly morose....sad looking all the time. something is not right there? she is always monotone. maybe she doesnt want to be a dcc, and has pressure cuz her mom was one. i hope she gets what she wants, because watching her get cut was just brutal. i bawled my eyes out. poor baby. she can be whatever she wants to be. i hope she is happy. i would love to see her doing something that can allow her to laugh out loud every single day! she is too young to be having the weight of the world on her shoulders!

No they kept Briana season 12 way longer than they should because she was pretty .... Kalli Fulterton season 1 and 6 ... she did not get one vote from the panel only Judi and Kelli they passed over others that received more votes

I think their proportions are slightly different actually. Like Kelli said, Victoria's legs are really slim and long which made her stomach look more obvious, whereas KaShara is curvier all around so she looks more in proportion.

It breaks my heart to see her now in the netflix show. Being a DCC was obviously hurting her. We don’t know what went on to make her feel this way, whether she did not get on with the girls and the management saw that and did not put her at par with her peers. She was probably looking at her co-rookies Kelcey and Chandi who got leaderships thinking why aren’t I up there? I have years under my belt. It was clear she felt unseen and passed over, whether this was deserved or not we don’t know. But it hurts to see her smile through her pain. Now she sees her dreams were very different from her reality. I hope she finds happiness in NY because she deserves it.

@Joy Thomas That is so true, a few seasons back they cut Hannah due her weight gain. It showed at auditions but they brought her into camp she seriously needed Jay's help because she couldn't even fit into her uniform anymore. That's why they went from yes, no, or maybe for vets to yes or no at auditions/finals.

They tell you in training camp that you have to stay at your audition weight, and she gained 11 pounds . I’m surprised they didn’t cut her sooner, they cut other girls for it very quickly.
