From "The Office": an American television mockumentary sitcom broadcast on NBC. Created as an adaptation by Greg Daniels of the British series of the same name, it is a mockumentary that follows the day-to-day lives of the employees of the Scranton, Pennsylvania branch of Dunder Mifflin, a fictional paper supply company. I’ve gotta be honest though, I relate way too much with Ryan here, that’s pretty much how I was blowing off work in school. The thing is I don’t really see that office as a punishment. I’d really have a hard time taking orders from Jim also, especially when you knew he never put any effort into his job and basically spent all day flirting with Pam and teasing his coworkers, and then because he kisses up to Wallace with sports talk, goes behind Michaels back to become the useless position of co-manager over all the others who actually work hard at the branch…. Oh yeah, and his wife Pam basically doing the same thing by lying for a fake promotion in another position that has no responsibility or purpose, “office administrator.”
