Desperately trying to catch a glimpse of Jimmy under all the layers of Saul is the true post-BCS Breaking Bad experience.
@bluebubble2292 жыл бұрын
I actually believe the Saul Goodman in bb is a split personality. He acts so different from what we see of him in bcs. So different it’s weird. We all know something happens to change him into that. We keep waiting, but he still isn’t like the Saul Goodman in bb. I believe something happens like maybe Kim dying. The trauma is so bad for jimmy that he literally develops a split personality that is just his scummy side. Saul Goodman. Mike also calls him Saul in Breaking Bad. He doesn’t seem the type to call Jimmy Saul. He does because he knows that isn’t Jimmy anymore. Unlike Walt and Heisenberg being the same person. The Saul Goodman we see in Breaking Bad is just a split personality of just his scummy side.

He is a broken man, and seeing Saul Goodman now is like looking at the animated corpse of a dear friend…
@fhfhfhfhfhfhfhfhfhf2 жыл бұрын
He started practicing law under the name Saul Goodman long before Kim left him. Actually, right when he was reinstated after his suspension. People oversimplify this character. Everything that happened, from the conflict with Chuck, the nontraditional attitude he always had, and the gleam of cartel money, all factored into his downfall we see throughout Breaking Bad.

I think a massive difference between these two Saul’s ..is his confidence. He knows a thing or two bc he’s seen a thing or too lol. He’s so much more well versed in these antics.. throwing around catch phrases, making corny jokes etcetc bc he knows he can deliver. He believes in himself, and Chuck no longer lives rent free in his head.
@bluebubble2292 жыл бұрын

@@bluebubble229 well you were spot on!
@cyberbron2024 Жыл бұрын
@@bluebubble229 I don't think so. I think breaking bad is where we see saul goodmans act become more refined. He's in character as Saul so he can bring the best service to his clients. It's like working a retail job and having to be nice to customers, you get better and better at the act therefore you're not being you. You're turning on a different personality for your customers. In breaking bad we only see him in scenes where he's being the lawyer to all the other characters. It's his job literally. In better call saul we see more of his personal life so we see Jimmy more. So to simplify we are just seeing Jimmy get better and better at his job as he gains more experience.
