@samdurham6277 yep. The Kettlemans (which is who I was referring to) are basically the baby version of Walt and Skyler. 4:01 "What do you mean he was rude about me?" They did such a phenomenal job showing how selfish and full of pride Walter truly was. "Pride cometh before the fall." He doesn't at all ask about Skylar or how Bogdon was condescending towards her, his wife for crying out loud. But instead, first asks about his wounded pride and then doesn't even ask about her. It reminds me of when Walter is trying to show Jesse the truth about Mikes "robbery" being a setup and concludes with, "it's always been me. It's all about me!" 😂

@@bradjohnson482 "I always thought it was because Gretchen started cheating on Walt with Elliot. I may have to watch it again." Gretchen never figured out why he left, so it can't be that she was cheating on him. She'd have figured that out. I think it's related to her family's wealth and him being a relatively poor college student. Maybe her father offered to help fund their startup, and he saw it as charity. The point for the story is that Walt let his ego screw him out of a good romantic relationship, a good career doing the work he loved, a Nobel prize, and probably becoming a billionaire, all at the same time, over something unimportant that bruised his delicate ego. If they backstabbed him, that's a totally different character.

one of the best scenes of the entire series to demonstrate how smart and resourceful Skyler is. she knows who she's married to and plays Walt like a fiddle. it's actually almost embarrassing for him how easily he's manipulated here

Everyone was so great in this scene, you can see walts ego getting hurt in real time, and Saul’s sanity leave him as client requirements pile up, and Skyler’s subtle i told you so as her husband backs her up, and Huell’s shit about to spray out, loool

The moments of comedic levity, although brief, were through the roof on Breaking Bad. From Huell having to use the bathroom, the looks on Skylar and Walt's face when they see Huell, followed by everything that comes out of Saul's mouth is hilarious. "This is a nice place, it'd be a shame if something happened."

i love walt’s awkward quietness throughout this scene , it feels so authentic in the fact that he’s kinda at a crossroads , stuck in a situation he can’t seem to solve himself , all the whole dealing with the new found dilema that your wife is involved and is taking heed with your crooked lawyer about how they need to, “motivate “, bagdan to sell . He stares around , gets lost in his own thoughts , everyone played an amazing part in this scene 😮

After watching Better Call Saul this scene has always made me wonder if Saul was running a scheme with Huell against Walter. It's the perfect unsuspecting setup that he always uses for these sort of things, I wonder if he had Huell spy on anything or place bugs around the house.
