The actor, the director, and the writers do a fantastic job with Dr Kelso. The actor delivers to Alliance with such wonderful comic timing that he never crosses the line. And whenever an actor gives that good of a performance, you throw the director is just off-screen guiding the way. And the writers made sure to sprinkle the seasons with enough moments where Kelso as soon as a human being. And even given good reasons why he acts the way he does in order to keep the hospital in business and effective. They also take the time to occasionally show that he's a good doctor and an effective administrator. Like when they revealed that he constantly trains and goes to seminars on the most modern techniques to keep up-to-date while more likeable doctors do not put out as much effort.

not really, he treated JD badly from the get go. not holding an elevator or moving a ladder from an entrance dont 'justify' how the janitor treats JD. The Janitor is just a mean spirited person, it shows when in the last season he sets the same trap for a new person that 'Justifies" his antics.
