For daylight shots of corals like the one at 1:08, do you use lighting? If no, how do you get vivid reds?

Yes, I used lights for that scene. Visibility had dropped and there was no sun ball to enhance the scene further. I was deliberately trying not to get too much blue due to lots of particulate in the water column. But that coral covered spire was super beautiful and indicative of health of the reefs.
